Why you'll love it at Port Ban Holiday Park

About the site

The campsite has panoramic views out towards the beauty of Islay and Jura, and is family run. Choose between 16 large camping pitches and 14 standard camping pitches, many offering electric. Tourers, meanwhile, sit along the beachfront - you couldn't be closer! You can also treat yourself to a glamping hexilodge, which includes space for four to sleep on a sofa bed, single camp bed and benches for a wee child. These have handy extras like a kettle for your cuppa and a heater, but you'll need to bring bedding yourself. Dogs are welcome to join you in both glamping and camping.

Port Ban is a real activity hub, and the sea makes it easy to get stuck in.

By day, it's a case of glorious beach strolls, top sailing and crazy golf for all the family. You can also flex your muscles with a few guided walks or hire a bike to go even further. As the sky darkens, stay up to watch an incredible twinkling of stars above.

That's just the tip of the iceberg, however, as Argyll's jammed with more things to do, with many more beaches, luxury cruises and the Dalriada Heritage Trail to explore.
