I have just returned from this site and had a lovely time. Everything was as advertised and the staff were great. The only problem I found was the park, as I has 2 children with me. Couldn't get anywhere near it as there were to many young people running about, but you do get that at any park. Also, paid for WiFi but couldn't connect but the site only provide the landline, so not their fault. I will be returning and really enjoyed my stay, thank you.

On arrival welcomed by pleasant receptionist and groundsman. We had the caravan levelled up, connections serviced and awning up in no time, not bad for our first attempt! Gary, the groundsman, helped us with all three tasks whilst emptying the bins and cutting the grass. He's an experienced caravanner and such a wonderful person. Campsite - 4 stars, Gary - 5 stars.

Location good for beach and amusements. Unfortunately, let down by other campers leaving rubbish all over and blowing around, and a lot do disregard the camp rules. In peak season, they can fit a lot of tourers on the site. Cleaners of the bathroom facilities work really hard and are a credit to Eastview.

We are sorry that there were issues with other campers, on arrival we do issue everyone with a welcome letter, this not only states site rules, but has the out of hours contact numbers for any problems. If we are made aware of a problem we will come out and deal to the issue. We have the same amount of pitches available all season, in fact in recent years we have blocked some pitches off to allow for the supersized tents with awnings that can make the site appear crowded if there are too many in one area. Site was busy, but no one was on top of each other. One unfortunate incident but staff reacted very quickly, calmly, and resolved problem. Definitely would use the site again. Facilities good and kept cleaned regularly. Ideal for a weekend break, beach within walking distance. Food and drink establishments varied choices. Very dog friendly.

Shower and toilet blocks are very clean but it could do with a bigger selection in the shop, with lots more choice and value.

Established campsite

An established campsite in the heart of the east coast. Although clean, the facilities were showing their age. Having to use a key fob to enter the shower/toilet block was inconvenient but I'm sure there is a good reason. The showers were too hot, with no way of adjusting the temperature, I heard a lot of people mentioning it so I assume the issue was more than just one shower. The sinks and pot washing also had the push operated taps which were hard to control and I felt it could be dangerous. The staff left the site promptly at 5pm, this seems thoughtless at the height of the holiday season. Late arrivals or any issue with noise had to rely on phone and email communication. The playground was small, my daughter was disappointed. Departure time of 10:30 was too early although not strictly enforced, we struggled to pack up in time. It was an okay site, plenty of electric hook ups and water taps. An upgrade of facilities would be nice.

We have the key fob system in place for security reasons to ensure that only people staying on our site can use our facilities. We are sorry that you found the water too hot in the top toilet/shower block. I have asked one of our maintenance people to check the temperature in there. Please note that we do, however, have another toilet/shower block by reception where the water tends not to be quite so hot. Although our Reception summer opening hours are 9am until 5pm, it depends on the amount of arrivals we still have to come and our reception was open until 6pm last Friday. Our departure time is at 10.30am so that we can have the pitches ready for check in's which are from 11.30am. If no one is scheduled to arrive on your pitch, we can offer a late checkout until 4pm for £5.00. This can only be booked the day before departure due to online bookings. We do hope you enjoyed your stay with us and that you decide to visit us again sometime. Thank you for your custom - Lisa - Bookings Team.

First ever camping experience and we loved it

For our first ever camping experience, we decided to pitch up at Eastview as we know we can get food, drinks and entertainment down the road in Chapel St. Leonard's. The site was excellent, and our pitch was moved right next to the shower block. The toilets were really clean, staff were friendly and even though the pitch was soggy after heavy rain and continued to rain during our stay, we loved our first experience and will definitely recommend Eastview to our family who also camp. 10/10 😁

Excellent toilet and shower facilities cleaned daily. The grass is tended to daily. The children's play area is very good. You feel safe and secure with entry to site and buildings via a fob. Very friendly and helpful staff. I've been coming a few years now and love it.

Great stay, site was very quiet after 10 pm and no noise before 7.30 am. Pitches were nice and big and the toilets and showers were good and cleaned at least twice a day. Small shop had the basics, which was very good. All-round great site for camping.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. The shower blocks are very clean and there's actually room to move in each shower cubicle! The village is within staggering distance and there's some great pubs in the local area. This was the first time we had been to the area and loved the spacious pitches and the quietness (we did leave before the school holiday mayhem started)

Really pleasant stay, the site was well maintained and managed to a good standard. The receptionist was very professional and friendly. The pitch had plenty of room with electric and water hook up, toilet and showers are in good clean condition and the water was very hot. The site is in a good location and we would recommend a visit.

Dog walk

Overall the site is very good. Would have preferred a proper dog walk as was walking about aimlessly. Also I didn't notice one bin for dog waste, which was a little disappointing. Would definitely return.

Had a lovely week on this site, great sized pitch, good location with a bus stop just outside. Buses to Fantasy Island and Skegness for 4 adults was £13 for a day ticket, so good value. I felt that the site shopping was a little disappointing. Toilets were clean most of the time, but not on Wednesday of our stay. Early in the morning, there was no toilet roll. The site is quiet from 10:30pm, apart from our last night when children were playing football and hitting into tents, shining torches into tents and running around them until 1.30am. There was no on site security, but you can phone for someone. Generally had a great week and would return.

Toilets were not clean

Toilets bins were always full with ladies sanitary pads. So sorry, but the toilets were not very clean and there was a lot of noise after 10:30, so didn't get much sleep.

We apologise with regard to the sanitary bins, once we were made aware of the problem the bins were swapped over with empty bins and the company called to remove the waste. The report back from him after emptying them was they were full mainly of nappies. The cleaner goes in several time a day and works very hard. If there is a issue that cannot wait until the next clean, if it is reported we will get it sorted as quickly as possible. On arrival you are given a welcome sheet, on both sides of this sheet is the phone number for security. This is for people to phone for any issues out of office hours. I'm sorry that you did not approach the office with your concerns during your stay and had to wait to express the problems in a review This is a little bit unfair. If we are not aware that there is a problem, how can we resolve it? Stephanie - Bookings Team

We as a group of dads stayed here for a few days with our kids during the holidays. Couldn't fault the service received by the staff at check in and during the stay. Very clear instructions as to where to pitch and park our cars (some sites I've found can be too vague and make it confusing.) Great location to get to the arcades and the beach. Toilet block was clean even though it's a bit dated. Lovely campsite would stay again.
