Great site

Great site, was welcomed with a big smile, site quiet and clean. We had a lovely 2 nights stay, if you need anything done, Dave was more than happy to oblige. We had friends visit last night and we all had the delicious burgers from the onsite van, followed by a coffee this morning as we left. Well done and thanks.

Amazing site. Make sure to visit.

Amazing campsite with an amazing team. Could not have been more helpful and organised. Our time was perfect and we will be back very soon. Amazing walks if you are a keen walker. A quality butchers for the keen BBQ’er.

3 night stay

I really enjoyed my stay at Goldstone Camping. The toilets and showers were sparkling clean, the fridge freezers were useful. Dave, who lives on site was friendly and helpful. The location is ideal for exploring beaches, seaside towns and Canterbury.

Helpful campsite owner

We went there in a group of 3. My friend's car had battery problem. Dave, the site owner, helped my friend to start the car. We really appreciate his help. The field is big. The kids enjoyed playing games there.

Lovely peaceful site in striking distance from all the Kent coast attractions

We loved this site. Wide open field and very few people there when we visited, despite being mid August. Very friendly and helpful staff, Dave was keen to know of anything we needed and gave great advice regarding things to do & places to eat. Simple clean facilities - toilets and showers, perhaps another washing up point would be useful. A perfect spot for exploring the East Kent towns and coast. We'll be back.

Amazing stay

Everyone was friendly and helpful. The farm shop is amazing. Dave made us feel welcome and was knowledgeable about what to do in the area. Definitely going back.

August stay

Stayed 3 nights, lovely campsite, very quiet, nice toilets and showers. Burger van on weekends. Friendly and helpful warden, Dave, always around on site to assist with anything. Convenient for Margate and Broadstairs.

Wonderful weekend

We had a wonderful time as a family camping at Gladstone. Location was perfect and the staff are just amazing in every way. The simplicity of the camping made it all the more enjoyable. Will definitely book again.

Campsite in a beautiful part of Kent

A fantastic pop up first site visit Right from the start we, we were greeted by Dave, the campsite manager. Dave was friendly, welcoming and above all, was at hand as we had forgotten some fire lighters and he opened up the shop especially for us. We had battled the mad weather but it was well worth it. We arrived late and needed to feed our kids and we pre booked booked burgers from Alice's converted horse box and they were some of the finest burgers I had in a while. Plus, if you want fresh coffee they have that too! The site is based on a farm which not only rears the Sussex breed of beef, but also grows apples and wheat. If you love eating meat, they have their own butchers on site. We sampled the pork rashers and beef steaks which my wife thinks are the best she's ever had! We'll defo want to go back again. Such a beautiful part of Kent!

Family camping at Goldstone

Dave the campsite manager was fantastic and really friendly. Really convenient location. Clean toilet/shower block.

Everyone needs a Dave

Great location, lovely site. Everything you need on site, clean toilets/showers, shop and butchers. And then we have Dave, the most amazing, helpful campsite manager/shop assistant/personal shopper/cleaner. There is nothing this man will not help you with. Thank you Dave, full of info and help - 5 stars!

Goldstone Camping

Dave was the perfect host, bacon roll and coffee was spot on for breakfast.

Lovely place and great staff

We had a lovely weekend, great location and easy to get to lots of places. Dave who was there to greet us was so helpful gave us some great recommendations and popped in to check everything was ok. Bathrooms and washing up station clean tidy, relatively basic, but perfectly acceptable. On-site butchers sells delicious food for a BBQ and the Horsebox coffee stop is a really nice extra. We would definitely go back again.

Weekend away

Peaceful campsite, clean, new shower block and fire pits available. Friendly staff who were happy to advice and help. New lots of nice beaches such as Broadstairs and Margate etc.
