Motorhome - Electric Grass PitchesAug 2024

Nice site. Camping field is very small and no room to play games with the children. On site children's park very poor and not really suitable for more than one child at a time, and then it will only keep them entertained for a few minutes. One slide and set of monkey bars, pool table faulty (keeps white ball). Location nearest shop 40 min walk away. Beach over an hours walk away. Only two showers each for ladies and gents, although they are kept clean and tidy. Good site for older people without children and like to walk, walk and walk

Site's response

Thank you for your review. We just wanted to say that nowhere on our listings do we say that we are a large site, it says that we are small and friendly all over our website which we tend to think we are, there are pictures of the brand-new small park, pool table, and football table. Also, we provide lots of board games in the large conservatory for older kids and families to borrow or sit and relax. Nowadays, Google maps shows everyone where we are situated which as you know, is a mile away from St Just so yes, just 30 minutes walk or 2 minutes in the car. We are proud of where we live, surrounded by the beautiful moorland in West Cornwall, yes it may not be for everyone, but that's why we get a lot of customers here too for the beautiful wildflowers, sunsets and country walks. The ratio of showers of 2 each is ample as we only have 10 pitches, we are graded by the AA each year at 91% Gold. Many thanks, Craig & Kerry.

Lovely, quiet site

Medium Tent - Electric Grass PitchesMay 2024

A great site because it is small and the owner is really helpful and welcoming. Facilities are good for a site of this size, even providing vacuum cleaners to get that dead grass out of the tent before you pack up. There is a convenient dog-walking area close by, and there are plenty of picnic tables and benches to make things more comfortable. Nice little patio which we used to hide from the chilly wind. Would definitely go back and stay for longer.

Lovely site and welcoming hosts

VW-Type Campervan - Electric Grass PitchesMar 2024

Lovely site with welcoming host. Great facilities, everything was spotless and a very quiet site. Only issue we had was that the postcode didn't take us to the site and we ended up down a single track road, so I would advise using the location they provide.

Beautiful and Peaceful

We came to Roselands in search for a peaceful, relaxing break and we got everything we wanted and more. We hired one of their lovely vans with central heating. The van was modern, well equipped and extremely clean. We visited lots of places during our stay and we will be returning with our camper in the summer, as we could see that they have a lovely large pitching area for a hook up. They also have 2 car charging point, which we thought was brilliant. We were able to get shopping in the local town and visit the many pubs which had lovely choices of food. Kerry and Craig run such a lovely family business, they have 2 beautiful dogs who are also very welcoming. We look forward to seeing you all again in the summer. Marie and Oliver

My partner and I stayed here for five nights in our campervan with our two dogs. The campsite is in a great location to use as a base to explore West Cornwall. During our stay we visited Sennen, Land's End, Porthcurno, Minack Theatre, Marazion, St Michael's Mount and St Ives. All of these were within a 30 minute drive. The local town of St Just is a five minute drive down the road. It has four pubs, a Co-op shop and a couple of bakeries. The site itself has a lovely view of the sunset in the evenings and a clean shower block. We'll be back 😊

The hidden gem of St Just

I can't rave enough about how great this hidden gem of a place is!! We decided to take our motorhome for a last minute cruise to Roseland and we were blown away with the location, site cleanliness and beautiful surroundings. We came here on the recommendation of a friend and top reviews. We are keen walkers and there is so much to see and explore in St Just and the surrounding areas. The coast is a picture of so much beauty and the beaches are golden and clean. This is an area for any age group. Craig and Kerry are the absolute heart of Roselands and are fabulous hosts, their local knowledge is above and beyond. In the evenings it was nice to pop into the games room and have a game of pool and just chill out. The site is located on the edge of complete beauty, you are literally steps away from moorland footpaths, and there are many places you can go and pull up and explore if you like roaming. Parking in the local towns was done with ease and in some places, you literally parked right by the beach. You're also close to bus routes which stop right at the end of the site's road, another positive for us. The local pubs are full of character and hold open mic nights, which are full of raw talent. We have already booked to return in 2024 for 2 stays...we have booked one of their large static vans which we had a tour of, we have a family stay booked and a cheeky weekend away to continue our far west adventures! We also visited the Minnack theatre which was absolutely fantastic being sat on the beautiful cliffside, we then walked down to the beach and had a BBQ, it was magical. We have shared our adventures with many friends, for those who seek to explore and those who just want peace, quiet and relaxation.

A great place to stay

A great friendly family site, run by Craig and Kerry, There was on site car parking available and it was dog friendly with good dog walks close by. The site was also very clean and well presented, there were some beautiful, colourful flowers and the grass was well maintained. On site facilities very clean and tidy, the owners were helpful and knowledgeable about the area. Close to Land's End and had other places to visit. It has great coastal walks, amazing beaches and views are spectacular. St Just with places to eat/drink, supermarket, butchers etc close by. Well worth a visit and stay at Roselands, we would definitely recommend.
