This is a quiet, family-run site in an ideal location. You'll be staying in the heart of Shropshire near to the market town of Church Stretton, with breathtaking views of the countryside The site offers both hardstanding and grass pitches with electric hook-ups for members, each one offering fantastic views of the Shropshire Hills. Dogs are welcome, just bear in mind there are sometimes sheep or cows in nearby fields.

Site rules and policies
No rules! We just ask you to be considerate of other guests with noise and if smoking or using a barbecue or fire bowls be aware of wind direction, proximity etc. Also, do keep dogs on a lead when necessary.
Things to do on site and in the Church Stretton area
Being in a central spot in Shropshire, there are plenty of great activities on offer. For those that enjoy walking or cycling, the area provides lots of lovely routes. You are close to The Longmynd and other Shropshire hills, plus there are many scenic walks with beautiful valleys to explore including Carding Mill Valley.
If walking isn't your thing then Church Stretton and the larger historic, medieval town of Shrewsbury (the birthplace of Darwin) are only a short distance away with lots of shopping and entertainment.
Shrewsbury boasts a great theatre that hosts some of the best performances and shows. If history interests you, the Ironbridge Gorge Museums are only a short distance away.
Don't want to cook? The Pound Inn, Leebotwood is just a short walk away (under 1 mile) offering food and beverages. Many more pubs and restaurants are a short distance away. Ludlow (well known for its eateries), is about a 30 minute drive.
The A49 is the main bus route between Shrewsbury and Ludlow, with buses stopping in Leebotwood, so that you can explore further afield. There are train stations at Church Stretton and Shrewsbury, and cycle hire is also available close by.
