About Croft Number 2 Caravan and Camping Certificated Site
This attended site is overlooking a mile long white sandy beach within a minute's walk, Rocky foreshore a five minute walk away, steep Atlantic facing cliffs ten minutes walk away. The site is surounded by an abundance of wild plants and flowers and much wildlife. It's sheltered from the prevailing winds which can get up some speed quickly in the Outer Hebrides, offering peace and relaxation. Kayaking, paddle-boarding, kite surfing are popular pass times on a safe and extensive sandy beach Pitches are set on grass with optional electric to suit tents and tourers. Friendly, well behaved dogs welcome. Kayaks and Paddle boards available for hire. Shop on site offering fresh and frozen fish supplies, basic provisions and camping supplies. Hot food and drinks are available from the on site catering unit specialising in fish and shellfish caught locally and fresh vegetables grown on site.

Site rules and policies
Pets must be kept on a lead while on site. Pet fouling will lead to a £50 charge.
Small camp fires on site and on the beach can be permitted on request and must be elevated by no less than 12" off the ground, we can rent fire pits for this purpose.
Site movements only permitted outside the hours of 20.30 and 06.00. Amended ferry times may make it necessary to arrive/depart outside of these times, please contact site owners to make other arrangements and guidance.
Things to do on site and in the Isle Of Barra area
Guests can enjoy walking, fishing, wildlife and bird watching, paddle boarding, kite surfing, wind sailing, kayaking or just simply relax in the peaceful surroundings. Paddleboard hire available on site.
The island is fantastic for walking, cycling, sea swimming.
You can take a boat ride to historic Kisimul Castle, play a round of golf at Europe's most westerly Golf course, or hop on a sea tour around the many uninhabited Islands including the archipelago of St Kilda.
