Twin Axle Caravan - Serviced Hardstanding PitchesSep 2024

Great site with excellent facilities, including a well stocked shop selling larger on tap and gin by the measure. There is a wooden pergola for guests to use set in the corner behind reception. Constructive criticism would be that the hardstanding pitches are fronted by concrete edging stone and some are very high in comparison to the hardcore in front of it, making it very difficult to motor move the caravan on to the pitch. Care is needed when leaving the site, the exit is very tight for a longer vehicle due to high hedges on both sides near the office. Please note that the nearby road results in some traffic noise.

Welcoming, friendly, first class campsite

Motorhome - Electric Hardstanding and Grass PitchesSep 2024

Lovely, clean, well kept site. Staff were very welcoming and friendly. One of the best sites we have stayed on. Facilities were first class and the owners have gone above and beyond to make the site attractive and the on-site shop stocked local produce and there was plenty to tempt you! Excellent idea also of having themed food nights for those who don't fancy cooking, from Friday night fish and chips van and Saturday Thai night - cooked on-site too. It is clear that a lot of thought has gone into the running of this lovely site and we shall certainly be returning with friends and recommending this site to our fellow camping friends.
