About Wilcocks Farm Caravan Site
This peaceful countryside site is the perfect escape for hikers and walkers. On the edge of the West Pennine Moors there are plenty of walking and cycling routes nearby. Also on your doorstep are three reservoirs with stunning views and bustling birdlife. This spacious site provides 22 hardstanding pitches, with great views over the hills, suitable for caravans and motorhomes. Onsite you will also find a range of farm animals, including sheep, cattle and pygmy goats. The site is also ideally situated to explore the rest of the North West. Liverpool and Blackpool are about an hour from the site, and so is the Lake District. Caravan rallies and D of E groups are welcome in a separate rally field. The site has been nominated for Chorley Smile Green Award for the efforts towards sustainability. The wind turbine provides power to the whole site. Four-legged friends are welcome onsite, but please keep them on a lead.

There is plenty to doing surrounding area, the village of Rivington is just a 15 minute walk from the site, with a range tea rooms, historical landmarks and nature walks. Climb the 1200ft peak of Rivington Pike and see great views over the Rivington Country Park and picturesque reservoirs.
Climb the trees and take on Go Ape tree top adventure at Rivington, just five minutes from the site, it's something for the whole family.
The town of Bolton and Wigan are just 20 minutes away, with great museums, markets and parks.
