From your spacious pitch you can take one of many walks into some of the Isle of Wight's most beautiful countryside. Of course, the coastal path is a highlight, but you're also missing out if you don't spend long days at Sandown Bay, Shanklin Chine and Osborne House.
The IOW also runs special events for several months of the year:
- May: the Isle of Wight Walking Festival
- June: the Gaffers Festival and the Isle of Wight Pop Festival
- July: Sandown Regatta and Sandown Carnival
- August: Shanklin Regatta, Shanklin Carnival and Cowes Week.
The Garlic Festival is just one mile away from the park.
