The site is within easy walking distance to the village shops, which includes an award winning fish and chip shop, tearooms, a bakery, butcher, art gallery, craft shops, community and heritage shop and more.

A number of traditional pubs in the area serve real ales and homemade food using locally sourced ingredients. The beer gardens are popular in the summer, and acoustic evenings are often held in the pubs during the period.

Other nearby attractions include the harbour, two beaches, Anglesey Coastal Path route, The Time and Tide Bell on the beach, boat trips, historic Llanbadrig church, Porth Wen Brickworks, and many more miles of paths with breathtaking scenery.
