Why you'll love it at Green Acres Farm Certificated Site

About the site

Being right on the edge of Oxford, this site is no more than a 10 minute drive from the city centre - where you can tour the ancient universities, try some river activities and enjoy a day out. The country park is a beauty spot with a long history (it was once a royal hunting ground), providing access to an expansive 100+ hectares on the southern slopes of Shotover Hill. Make your way to the top for enticing views across south Oxfordshire. Pitches are set on grass to suit tents and tourers, with optional electric available. This is a certificated site, and so all campers must be members of the Camping and Caravanning Club. As you'd imagine, all this space is ideal for wildlife and much of the country park is a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI), perfect for nature fans. Great dog walks to be had in the park.

Open from 1 April to 1 November
