Why you'll love it at Melin Rhos Caravan Park

About the site

Perched on the coast just outside of Moelfre, this site is a great base for exploring the island of Anglesey. The site is small, tranquil and well sheltered. It is separated from its sister campsite Ty'n Rhos by a little bridge crossing the River Lligwy. Onsite you'll find one hardstanding pitch with electric hook up and 13 grass pitches with electric hook up, suitable for caravans, campervans and tents. There is a spectacular beach of Traeth Lligwy nearby, renown for its white sands and surfing opportunities, which is just 20 minutes from the site by foot. You're also spoilt for coastal walks. If you're of the opinion that the best walks end up at a pub, check out the Anglesey Coastal Path route from Moelfre (via Traeth Lligwy and Traeth yr Ora) to the Pilot Boat pub on the Dulas estuary. Expect fantastic views and classic ales! The many attractions of Moelfre are just five minutes away and Eryri National Park (Snowdonia) can be reached in under half an hour. Well behaved dogs are welcome but must be kept on leads around the site. Campfires are not permitted.

Open from 1 March to 31 October
