Ladies showers

Field and pitches level, location not bad, but need to drive out as there is no shop. A gap in the hedge would be good for local walks, but other than that, nice place, quiet, very friendly and clean.

Lovely peaceful site

This was our first trip away camping for 12 years, goodness we certainly picked the perfect site for us to start again! It was a quiet few days on the site which I guess helped with us finding our feet! The pitches for tents are a great size, campervans and caravans are catered for across the field ( ehu etc) The toilet and shower block is very clean and the showers lovely and hot! There is an accessible shower room too which would be great for families with young children as well. Plenty of hot water at the dish washing sinks too! The location is perfect for visiting the Suffolk coastal spots and other local attractions. The friendly owners are very welcoming and knowledgeable about the area too. This newly established site is great and we will certainly return next season!

Great, friendly campsite

Great, simple campsite, facilities all of a great standard. Friendly owners, seemed very supportive if we needed anything and gave great local recommendations. Communications prior to staying were great and nice to have a WhatsApp chat set up encase we needed them. Would definitely recommend. Pleased to have supported a local family business :-)

Relaxing weekend

What a lovely site this was. Lovely hardstanding fully serviced generous sized pitches, all level and well maintained. It is a small site and not overcrowded. If it's peace and quiet you want, then this is the perfect site to be. It has only been open a few weeks but the owners have done a great job and nothing is too much trouble. The shower block is sufficient for the number of pitches and kept clean. This is a no frills campsite so if you want a lot of onsite activities, shops and bars then this is not the one for you. But, if you want a lovely, relaxing, well kept site, then Henstead Fields is the one for you.

Lovely site well run, clean and tidy and nothing too much trouble

A quiet, nice little site

The site is very new but well organised & nicely presented. It's quite 'out in the sticks' so requires transport (either motorised or bicycles) to get to any shop or eating place/pub really. The pitches are large and well serviced (there are 5 un-serviced ones on the other side for tents). The toilets and showers are kept very clean and the hosts are seen around the site a couple of times a day, they are extremely personable. 2 very minor feedback points would be to inform guests what side of the hardstanding is their pitch as this isn't at all clear & we weren't the only ones to be confused. Maybe add a small fenced off area near the back end (toilet block) for a dog area. Those in no way detract from a great stay in a lovely part of East Anglia, close to the countryside and beaches.

Perfectly Peaceful

Lovely tranquil site, excellently located near to several beaches. Callum was a perfect host and even asked us for any suggestions on how to improve the site further. 5 minutes from Beccles airfield where you can parachute jump if you wish. We didn't get to meet Sarah or Clemmie but we were lucky enough to meet the wonderful Nellie who is an excellent gymnast.

Lovely and relaxing!

What a lovely campsite this is! Truly family run, Sarah was very helpful and lovely before arriving! Callum was great and very welcoming! If you are after beautiful skies at night and a great location for the beaches, you must book this! Wish Callum, Sarah and family the best for the future!

One word - amazing

We booked a last minute trip away to visit friends and family in the area and were pleasantly surprised by the availability and ease of booking. Sarah and Callum were very accommodating of us needing an early arrival and were very welcoming and friendly when we arrived. If we had any issues or questions, we were able to message them directly. The facilities provided were clean and well equipped. The views were amazing and it was so peaceful. I would definitely recommend to anyone thinking about it. We will definitely be back.

Great campsite in peaceful location

We have never been to Norfolk before and were looking for somewhere to go paddle-boarding near Beccles, as we had found, this was an ideal location, with a good launch point and parking facilities nearby. Most campsites were full, due to the school holidays. However, we were lucky to find Henstead Fields had only just opened and had space. What a find! Quiet, peaceful, clean and close to Beccles! We were unfortunate to hit bad traffic on the way up and concerned we wouldn't get to the site before the last booking in time, so called ahead. Sarah was really helpful and said it wouldn't be an issue, advising that we could camp away from others, not to disturb if we needed to. It wasn't necessary in the end, but helpful to know. Callum met us when we arrived and was helpful, and always polite and friendly when we saw him in the campsite. We will definitely return if we ever visit near this area again, as it was such a lovely location, I'm sure it will be very popular!

Excellent peaceful campsite

We had a brilliant stay here. Very peaceful setting with large, spacious, fully serviced pitches. Calum and Sarah were super friendly and helpful. We also enjoyed the simple check-in process with the pitch allocated before arrival. Facilities were very good and always kept clean. Highly recommend staying here and we plan to return soon.

Fabulous Suffolk haven

This new site was such a discovery, located close to beaches (20 min by cycle or 15 min by car). Easy to reach, big level pitches all with electric, water and drain. Callum and Sarah were super helpful and toured the site daily to have a chat. Nearby quirky breakfast, lovely level lanes to cycle, both of us loved it. Wangford shop better than Wrentham's, it was all so relaxing.

Relaxed and refreshed

We had an amazing night away from the hustle and bustle of every day life. All the facilities that you need, but the peace and quiet of the countryside. Well kept and very clean. Lovely welcome at the entrance with my name and pitch number on a board. Great site to sit back and relax.

Clean, well managed site with attentive staff

The site is well kept, with plenty of space. It was easy to arrive and set up as the communication by email and text was excellent. Thank you Sarah. Callum popped over to make sure all was well and we knew we were attended to with a hands off approach, which we appreciated. Kessingland, Lowestoft and Beccles are with comfortable cycling distance. We will be back!

Peaceful and friendly

We wanted a couple of days peace and quiet, and our stay was just that. A friendly welcome, great local knowledge, excellent facilities, and a big, flat pitch - we will definitely recommend and will return as the location is perfect for exploring the area, then returning for peace and quiet. Really enjoyed our stay.
