Bamburgh Touring Caravans at Fowberry Farm is nestled between Bamburgh and Seahouses in the Northumberland Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB). A small site with just eight electric hardstanding pitches each with views of the rolling countryside and the historic Bamburgh Castle. An ideal spot for exploring Northumberland's coastline, with boat trips to the Farne Islands and a footpath to the beach. Dog friendly.

Motorhome - Hardstanding Electric PitchesNov 2024

lovely site, quiet yet handy for many places to visit. Some lovely new born lambs in the next field.

Site's response

Thank you very much for your review. The lambs are our pedigree Poll Dorset sheep. We lamb them in September each year. Poll Dorset are the only sheep that can lamb at any time of the year.

Lovely campsite!

Excellent stay, site was in a lovely position. It was very quiet and in walking distance of Bamburgh castle and the coast. The toilets and showers were very clean, everything you needed was there. Lovely stay.

A lovely little site, only 35 mins walk from Bamburgh centre (across path/fields). Does have 1 shower and toilet which is clean and tidy. Open all year.

A nice spot within walking distance of the beach, though a long bumpy drive to the farm. The toilets and showers were clean and hot. One improvement could be hot water for washing up.

Site's response

The road to the farm does have one of two sections where there are a few minor holes, but most of the road is fine. It is a single track road that is maintained by Northumberland County Council. The Council is aware of the condition of parts of the road and will repair the road in due course. Thank you for your comment regarding hot water for washing up - this will be a project for 2025.

Peaceful with good views

Motorhome - Hardstanding Electric PitchesNov 2024

Spent 2 very enjoyable days here. The site is a working farm with no frills, but that suited us. The location is great for walking to Bamburgh or Seahouses and there is a footpath to the beach. It was very peaceful with views of the castle.

Cracking little site for visiting Bamburgh and Seahouses, both within 30-40 mins walk. All you need, electric, toilets and showers clean and tidy and they allow fire pits, so bonus!

Lovely quiet site, perfect for what we needed

Lovely little site on a working farm, hardstanding pitches for 8 caravans/motorhomes. Will definitely book again when next up in the north east.
