Motorhome - Fully Serviced Touring PitchesSep 2024

Our stay at Highview was the highlight of our Ireland tour. Davie was a superb host and provided the most fantastic facilities we’ve seen so far. Our last night at Highview with all the other campers was most memorable. I’d highly recommend Highview in the future and we look forward to returning.

Glamping Cabin - Log CabinsJul 2024

The 'glamping pods' are little more than large garden sheds. They are comfy enough, but could use a bit more ventilation. There's a wee vent on one side but no window to open. The site has immaculate toilets and showers, they'll sell you a sack of firewood that lasted us 3 nights for a fiver. The site is well located for the Giants Causeway and is in easy enough walking distance from White rocks, which is a stunning bay with a mile or so of sandy beach. The pubs and restaurants of Portrush were at the other end.

Brilliant 2 night stay

FAQ

Check-in is between 2pm-8pm on arrival day and check-out is due by noon on day of departure.

Yes, up to two dogs are welcome to join on all touring pitches, provided they are kept on a lead whilst onsite and well-supervised.

Set along the Causeway Coast, the park is ideally situated for trips to Dunluce Castle, less than two miles away, as well as the 20m rope bridge at Carrick-a-Rede (12.8 miles), and the Dark Hedges (13.5 miles). The glorious beaches at Portrush can be reached in just over five minutes, and make time for a day at the golf club before dinner. You'll find plenty to please little ones too, with fun and family friendly rides at Barry's Amusements (3.3 miles).

Highview Holiday Park does not allow gazebos or pup tents, but you can bring a porch awning for a small fee with you for your stay.

BBQs are welcome, provided they are raised off the ground. Open fires are not permitted.

If you're the outdoor type then this area is right up your street. The scenery is stunning and you can walk for miles along great beaches or coastal paths.

Kids will love Barry's Amusements or Kiddie Land for family fun. Spend a day at the Giant's Causeway where Finn McCool the local giant took on the equally fearsome Scottish giant. A short drive from there will take you to Ballintoy or to visit the Dark Hedges, both of which feature in Game of Thrones.

Don't forget Dunluce Castle and crossing the rope bridge at Carrick-a-Rede. Just in case there's a rainy day you can go visit the Old Bushmills Distillery or the Salmon Station. Oh and don't forget Portstewart Strand and Mussenden Temple.

If you like the water then try out the local surf schools or just have a nice swim. There's fishing, boating, snorkelling or just have a glass of bubbly in the Harbour Bar or Portrush Yacht Club.

How about watching the International North West 200 motorcycle race in May where the bikes reach speeds of over 200 mph! The festival lasts for a week and there are organised events every day.

There are various markets and events happening around the area throughout the summer season so you will be busy but only if you want to be. Come here and be flat out or just chill.
