A note from the site themselves...
The site is owned and run by myself (Lynn Cuthbertson) and my husband, James Cuthbertson. I had worked most of my life for other organisations on a 9 to 5 basis, but I had a great desire for the freedom to take control of my time management and make my own work decisions.
I have always lived in the countryside and adore the peacefulness of more rural living. James is often too busy with his full-time job and jobs around the site like digging holes, planting hedges, measuring, and planting grass seed, the list is endless.
We both hope we both get to welcome you to our lovely part of Scotland soon!

Great site and location for touring Fife. Site itself was scenic quiet and had great amenities. Will certainly book again when coming back to the area.
The site was quite easy to find, I used to live round the area. Really pleased to have an enclosed dog walk area. Hot running water and warm toilets. It was really clean, the pitches were more than adequate and made better by the fact that there was raised grass areas between pitches. Which provided safety as well as privacy, will be definitely be going back.
The site was quiet & clean, with a gated area to let dogs off lead, which is lovely.
We arrived at 6pm and it was very dark. Lighting on site is minimal, so take a torch. Anything more than lighting tripped the electric, which was a pain if you wanted to do something as simple as boil a kettle or prepare food.
There seem to be lots of instructions about what you aren't allowed to do in both emails and signs across the site, and there seems to be an obsession with electricity consumption, which is great for the environment.
Site's response
It is good you felt the campsite was clean, with an enclosed dog run and that we are trying to be environmentally friendly. Yes it is best to take a torch, or most phones have lights on them, as the campsite is in the countryside surrounded by farmland and there will be dark areas. Although it has solar lights on it and electric lights round the facilities.
You did not say you were having trouble with the electric. We could have maybe helped you, as you should have easily been able to easily boil kettle and have fridge and lights on at the same time. The hook ups are 16 amp, only 2 years old and regularly checked. I can only say that no one else on the campsite had an issue doing this on the night you stayed and the pitch you were on was booked immediately before and after your visit with no electrical issues.
The sign at the pitch is a gentle, short, polite introduction to new campers of the long-established campsite etiquette and to campers that may not have read the website terms & conditions. The signs on the notice board are a requirement of the campsite licence. They do make a big difference as we have tried with no signs. We try to keep them as minimal as possible. Most large campsite with receptions have the same instructions on paper that they give to every guest arrival.
