There is plenty to do in Ballycastle and the town centre is a ten minute walk from the park. Why not take the ferry from Ballycastle to beautiful Rathlin Island just six miles across the Sea of Moyle.

Along the Causeway Coast is Carrick-a-Rede rope bridge, one of Northern Ireland's best known tourist attractions. The bridge, suspended almost 100ft (30m) above sea level, connects two cliffs off Ballintoy, County Antrim and visitors can cross it - if they dare!

Watertop Open Farm is located six miles outside Ballycastle in the gorgeous Glens of Antrim. It offers a great day out for all the family, with a variety of activities on offer which include an assault course, boating lake, pony trekking and go-karting.

The world famous Giant's Causeway is a twenty-minute drive away from Causeway Coast Holiday Park. Northern Ireland's first UNESCO Heritage Site, is a geological wonder and home to a wealth of history and legend. The 40,000 basalt stone columns left by volcanic eruptions 60 million years ago intrigue and inspire visitors.

For the outdoor enthusiast there is no shortage of walks and trails around the coastline and in the Glens of Antrim. The 33-mile Causeway Coast Way has been described as one of the finest coastal walks in Ireland.

For golfing enthusiasts there is no shortage of world class championship links courses in the area. In Ballycastle, the golf club hosts Causeway Coast Amateur Golf Tournament. The course sits yards from the shoreline and is one of the most scenic in Northern Ireland.

Half an hour from Causeway Coast Holiday Park is Royal Portrush Golf Club, host club for the 2019 Open Championship. Royal Portrush is famous for having one of the best and most challenging links golf courses in the world and has tested celebrities and royalty alike.

Its close neighbour, Portstewart, has hosted the Irish Amateur Championship in 1960 and 1992 and held qualifying rounds of The Open in 1951 and the British Seniors in 2004. It hosted the Irish Open in 2017 with its Strand Course indisputably the jewel in Portstewart crown for both quality of game and scenery.

Another 20 minutes further on round the coast is Castlerock Golf Club, a fabulous links course set among rolling sand dunes.
