Wayfarers' Wood is a wildlife friendly shepherd's hut set in its own sunny woodland glade and with everything you need for a relaxing break. In fact, you don't need to bring anything except yourselves as the hut is fully equipped and extremely comfortable whatever the weather. The hut sleeps two and is the same price all season!
About Wayfarers' Wood
It's rare to find a site that you have entirely to yourselves. At Wayfarers' Wood there is no one else to disturb your peace or the tranquillity of the setting and even the owners are 200 metres away. They are happy to help and are there if you need them. This means total privacy to just chill out, watch the local wildlife and appreciate the rural surroundings. If you really need to get away from the throng and hectic modern life this is the holiday for you. There is no WiFi and the phone signal is erratic which, of course, is a good thing! The site provides a low-impact and environmentally friendly holiday for those wishing to gain themselves green brownie points! The hut is in an off grid location and includes all the essential home comforts such as a double bed. Bedding provided. A breakfast basket is provided for your stay and this includes lots of delicious local produce including eggs from the orchard dwelling and fruit when in season. There's a fire pit for barbecues and a hammock for when life just gets too tough to manage. Sorry, no pets allowed.

Things to do on site and in the North Walsham area
The hut is only five miles from the coast and even nearer to the famous Norfolk Broads - the River Ant runs through the village and links to the Broads system. Canoe hire is available locally.
There's bike hire available and the terrain in this part of Norfolk is famously flat so it's an easy run to the local pub and/or beach.
There are lots of beautiful local footpaths criss-crossing the village including the Weavers' Way long distance footpath along the old railway line.
The historic city of Norwich is 20 minutes by train from the local station as are the seaside resorts of Cromer and Sheringham. The unspoilt coast is within five miles and there are wildlife nature reserves and the National Trust properties of Blickling Hall and Felbrigg Hall nearby.
