About Parc Farm Caravan Park
Just a five minute walk from the quaint village of Penybontfawr and set in the heart of the Tamat Valley, this family friendly touring park is a Powys gem. Pull up at Parc Farm and enjoy a riverside stay surrounded by a beautiful backdrop of mountains and greenery. There are ten grass pitches for your caravan or motorhome, each with a 10 amp electric hook up. There are also 12 pitches for seasonal tourers as well as a selection of static caravans. Have a picnic by the river as you watch the little ones run around in the playground or a game of football. Or, if you like fishing pack your rod and fish in the River Tanat and see what you can catch, for keen walkers there are plenty of trails around. Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a lead at all times. Sorry, campfires and BBQs are not permitted.

The park's backdrop is the perfect place to take in the stunning scenery of the valley, as you wait for a bite by the river whilst the kids runaround in the play area.
Lake Vyrnwy is just under 10 miles from the park, where you can take to the water in a kayak or canoe or, if you want to stick to dry land, abseiling, horse riding and more is also available.
History lovers can also head to Powis Castle and Gardens, just over 30 minutes away. This spectacular medieval castle towers over the surrounding gardens - ideal for family strolls before catching your breath with a picnic.
You're also close to the historic market towns of Bala, Oswestry and Welshpool and just an hour from the coast for days at the beach.
