This family owned and adult only touring park consists of four main terraces with 360 degree views of the surrounding landscape. About Red Kite Touring Park
This is a five star family run touring park for adults only. You'll be pitched up among 20 acres of lush greenery including ponds, a coarse fishing lake, walking routes and dog walks. The ideal location to find peace and tranquillity with breathtaking views across the Welsh Valley. Unwind in nature and enjoy all that the surrounding countryside and wildlife has to offer. Choose from 62 fully serviced pitches, including 10 Premium fully serviced pitches which feature extra large hardstandings and faster WiFi speeds. Enjoy the use of a state of the art amenity block (winners of loo of the year). All pitches are fully serviced with 16 amp electricity, grey and brown waste water, and fresh water with complimentary WiFi. 7kWh of electric is inclusive of nightly pitch fees, usage above this is metered with unused balance refunded to you upon departure. Fires and fire pits are not allowed, sorry. However, you are welcome to use your own charcoal, gas or electric BBQs but these must be located on the gravel pitch area and supervised at all times. Dogs are welcome, within the grounds of the park there are large dog walking areas, with a separate fenced off dog training area.

Touring pitches are gravel hardstanding, accessed along tarmac roadways and paths. All pitches have grey and brown waste water disposal, fresh water and electric hook up and piped TV.
Hardstanding Slimline Campervan Pitch
Max 2 people
This pitch is ideal for a campervan or small motorhome without an awning. You may fit a small caravan on this pitch providing you are happy to park your towing vehicle on the reception parking area.

Premium pitches include extra large gravel hardstanding with superfast WiFi and are accessed along tarmac roadways and paths. All pitches have grey and brown waste water disposal, fresh water and electric hook up and piped TV.

Site rules and policies
Check-in is available from 1pm until 6pm during low season and 1pm until 8pm during high season.
Departure is due before 11am on your last day.
Things to do on site and in the Llanidloes area
Onsite there are 20 acres to explore, including the course fishing pool, Great Crested Newt pond, and picnic areas. There are nice walks from the park into town, or along the river Clywedog and the Severn Way skirts the park. Ask at reception for more information.
If wanting to see more of the beautiful Welsh countryside hop on the Welshpool and Llanfair Light Railway (40 minutes) for a historic train journey through picturesque valleys. Or head to Pen y Garreg Dam (40 minutes) for breathtaking panoramas over a series of dams.
Drive to Aberdyfi Beach (50 minutes) and enjoy the sandy beaches, go sailing, try watersports or go crab fishing from the jetty. Head to Tywyn Beach (1 hour) and stroll down the promenade to enjoy dolphin spotting or try some of the great pubs and restaurants in the area.
The historic market town of Llanidloes is a pleasant 15 minute walk from the site. Here you will find cosy cafes, tea rooms, small shops and a market on a Saturday.
