About the site


Dating back to the 1800s, the lodge is steeped in incredible historys and home to 5 acres of woodland. A pretty river runs through the grounds, with a fishing area and friendly farm animals across the small holding. Garlieston's harbour is only a minute away on foot and offers a slipway to launch from and enjoy the Wigtown Bay estuary. All the motorhome and caravan pitches on site are hardstanding and tent pitches offer excellent draining and are on gravel. All have 16-Amp electric hook-up available.

Wigtown Bay has a beautiful stretch of coast with a conservation reserve that hosts swans, pintail, curlew and even pink-footed geese.
