About Riverside Village Holiday Park
Surrounded by nature reserves, SSI's and the RSPB Wallasea Island Wild Coast Project, this peaceful site is perfectly immersed in nature. Just east of the village of Canwedon, on the gorgeous south east coast, you'll find tranquil fishing lakes and a quiet atmosphere. Close to Essex Marina, boat sales, cafe/bar with stunning views, a passenger Ferry to Burnham-on-Crouch. Spacious grass pitches await, as part of a five acre grassed field,on a 24 Acres site each offering an optional 16amp electric hookup, and plenty of space for your tent, tourer or motorhome. The field is also available for rallies. Dogs are permitted onsite.

Site rules and policies
SHOP & OFFICE: OPEN Mon-Fri 9am to 5pm(1 to 2 lunch) Sun & Bank Holidays 9.30am to 5pm
The shop sells Ice Creams, Bread, Milk, Cakes, Drinks, Cakes, Camping Equipment/Chemicals etc.
ENQUIRIES: During office hours, all enquiries should be made to the office please.
Please do not interrupt members of the Maintenance Staff whilst they're working!
NOISE: Please respect other people's peace by ensuring that all noise and music ceases by 11pm.
DOGS: Must be kept on a lead at all times. Please pick up POO IMMEDIATELY. NO DOGS in TENTS.
PITCH FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.
CLEANLINESS: Your caravan and the area immediately around it must be kept clean at all times. Put rubbish inside the bins provided, not on the ground.
RUBBISH BINS: are located between Mallard and Woodpecker fields. Please place all rubbish inside bins to stop foxes etc. from ripping bags. Kitchen waste only.
GAS EXCHANGE: Office hours only (CALOR & FLO)
CHEMICAL DISPOSAL: This facility can be found on the bridge between Woodpecker field and the children's play area.
WASHING-UP: There is a Hot water sink near the WC`S by the Play park and a Cold water sink is in the middle of Mallards field. There is also a hot water sink in the launderette behind the Shower block.
ELECTRICAL HOOK-UPS: These must be disconnected overnight when the caravan is not in use.
NO WASHING LINES: Drying facilities are provided in the laundry room behind the shower block.
NO: Kennels, Generators or 47kg gas canisters.
VEHICLES: 5mph AT ALL TIMES. Cycling/Motorcycling on the roadways only, not on footpaths. The roadways on this site are covered by The Road Traffic Act therefore the Police can access the site at any time. No minimoto's/quad bikes, hoverboards, segways ebikes and the like - petrol or electric - to be ridden on site.
STRICTLY NO VANS OR COMMERCIAL VEHICLES WITH TOURING FIELD BOOKINGS not even to drop off
DRONES: cannot be operated on/in or around the entire site.
DISCHARGING OF FIREWORKS IS STRICTLY FORBIDDEN.
GUESTS WITH CHILDREN: Children on site remain the responsibility of the caravan owner and must be supervised at all times, particularly when using the shower block.
No unaccompanied children after 9.30pm. NO WATERBALLOONS/BOMBS ETC.
INSURANCE: All caravans must be insured.
DO NOT CARRY LIGHTED BBQs, CANDLES etc. INTO TENTS - THEY CAN KILL YOU!!!
TELEPHONE BOX FOR EMERGENCY NUMBERS: Located outside the office.
GATE TO THE SEA WALL: The gate code to re-enter the site is: C135 and turn the knob to the left and push.
FISHING: Is available on site at £5.00 per rod, per day. Passes are available from the office.
Fishing times are 9:30am - 8:00pm and in the designated area only. You must have a National Rod license.
CONTINUAL USE OF A TOURING CARAVAN: will be charged at the weekly rate and payable in advance.
SEASONAL GUESTS:
• The grass around your caravan/awning must be kept trimmed and windbreakers must be taken down when the caravan is not in use
• Leg points, jockey wheel and locks must be maintained. All movements are done so at the caravan owner's risk.
PHYSICAL OR VERBAL ABUSE OR ANY DAMAGE TO PROPERTY WILL NOT BE TOLERATED AND PROSECUTIONS WILL BE PURSUED
Any breach of our rules will result in the party concerned being barred from the site IMMEDIATELY.
