Lovely campsite and lovely host. Couldn't fault the cleanliness and peacefulness. Only downside to the site was the size of the showers. Showers are far too small.

Me and my partner were away for our anniversary weekend. It was such a beautiful private set up, we were met by the lovely Elliot who couldn't have been more helpful to us. We were unlucky with the weather as it rained the whole weekend but it didn't stop us having a lovely time. There are lots of things to do locally, Elliot recommended the lovely pub down the road for dinner which is a 10/15 minute walk from the site. We will definitely be returning!

Had a fabulous stay in the large yurt as a family of 5. We all oved the yurt, the hot tub and the peaceful location. The kitchen facilities were great for a glamping set up and we really enjoyed the pizza oven. Would definitely recommend for a family adventure.

We had a wonderful relaxing break. The yurts are clean and well equipped, located with plenty of space giving lots of privacy. We enjoyed fishing and our grandson caught a big carp with Elliott's help. We enjoyed cooking pizzas in the outdoor oven and toasting marshmallows over the fire pit. Our hosts were friendly and helpful, adding to the welcome we enjoyed. Can't wait to return.

Lovely and welcoming hosts, we was given some tips on local places and amenities which was useful. The shepherds hut was nice but rather run down and could have done with a nice clean and an upgrade. Hot tub was nice but a net would have been useful to have kept water free of bugs and leaves. The communal fridges were dirty and didn't feel happy leaving food inside them. Think the communal area would be lovely if upgraded and cleaned up, shower unit was really small and was awkward trying to get changed as so cramped! If looking for basic facilities and peace and quiet then ideal!

Comfortable, charming & peaceful. Just what we needed. We used the oven which was clean & worked well. Bed was fresh & comfortable. The hut was clean & so pretty. An evening spent with the fire pit blazing, just relaxing. Fishing nearby (you could here the fish plopping up & down) & beautiful aspects of nature. The loo & shower was clean and great to use. We didn't use the outdoor area but did store food in the fridge. A nice seating area for entertaining if you are there as a group. Peter, the farmer, was very friendly & helpful. We were there on our own, the yurts were empty, so no noise. We didn't use the hot tub, but it looked great, plenty of wood and kindling provided. Thank you for a lovely rest!

The Shepherd's Hut was so lovely and comes with cooker and it's a lot bigger than I thought. The hot tub was amazing and we all had so much fun. Massive kitchen area which is all under cover just in case it's raining. The shower and toilet was fine and always topped up with toilet rolls. The water was always hot. We will definitely return.

I embarked on a glamping weekend with my three children, and it was an absolute hit! The Yurt we stayed in was spacious, impeccably clean, and had a delightful ambiance. Nestled in a picturesque valley surrounded by countryside, it truly felt like an adventure for the kids. The wood-fired hot tub stole the show, keeping them happily occupied for hours. We're definitely planning to return - highly recommended! 🌟

Myself and 3 friends spent 2 nights at Rocombe Valley Retreat. What a beautiful location. Very close to all amenities and easy to get to. Great access from the M5. We really enjoyed our stay. The layout is fantastic. Big communal kitchen where you can store food in fridges. Each plot has a good amount of distance from each other. The option of a hot tub was ideal and inexpensive. In fact, the price all round I thought was super reasonable. We even had our own gas stove/BBQ! All in all we loved it and would/will 100% be back again. Elliot who looks after the place was lovely and friendly. Great communication too. A wonderful stay with wonderful views. Thank you 👌
