Set across 12 acres of unspoilt countryside, Eden Grange Glamping offers guests a peaceful retreat back to nature. With three onsite fishing lakes and a restaurant, this family and dog friendly site has a selection of cosy glamping pods and shepherd's huts, all with ensuite bathrooms and private electric hot tubs which sleep up to four guests. There are also three fully serviced hardstanding motorhome pitches, one of which even has a hot tub!

About the site
Ideally located just a 25 minute drive from the historic city of Durham, this family-run site is a tranquil escape to the countryside. With the Locomotion railway museum a 20 minute walk and Shildon a five minute drive, there is so much to do right on your doorstep. There are three fully serviced hardstanding pitches available. These are all suitable for campervans and motorhomes and come with water and 16 amp electric hook up, an Elsan toilet disposal point and grey waste water disposal. Pitch one measures 8m x 9m while pitch two measures 8m x 13m. One of the hardstanding pitches measures 8m x 13m and also has its own private electric hot tub for evenings under the stars! The site has seven ensuite glamping pods to choose from. The Honey, Snowdrop and Buttercup pods all sleep two guests with a double bed. While the Daisy, JoJo, Aira and Poppy pods all sleep up to four, two adults and an additional double sofa bed for children. There are also three shepherd's huts with Bilynda Rose and Primrose sleeping two with a double bed and Lily sleeping four with the addition of a double bunk bed. All of the glamping pods and shepherd's huts include bedding and towels, an ensuite bathroom, well-equipped kitchen area, heating and electricity. Outside, they all have their own private electric hot tub, seating area and a firepit/ BBQ. Guests can even hire dressing gowns and slippers from the site! There are also a range of tipis onsite. The site has three fishing lakes available for guests to fish in, each with different varieties of fish to catch. From carp to skimmers and tench, there is plenty to keep budding fishermen entertained. The fully licensed onsite bar and restaurant is also perfect if you're looking for a spot of breakfast or even a Sunday roast! If you're hoping to bring your pup along, dogs are welcome on the hardstanding pitches and in the Aira and Poppy glamping pods and the Primrose shepherd's hut. For dinner al fresco, those in the glamping accommodation can enjoy their own firepit/ BBQ.

The site has three well stocked fishing lakes making it an ideal spot for an afternoon of fishing or simply enjoying a relaxing walk.
A 20 minute walk will take you to the Locomotion Rail Museum where you can see a collection of historic locomotives and learn how railways have shaped the world. You can even enjoy interactive exhibitions and hop on a mini train, making it a fun and educational experience for all ages!
