About Watertop Farm
Just a stone's throw from the North Coast dramatic coastline and the awe-inspiring Glens of Antrim, the farm is ideally located for sightseeing, if you get bored of the stunning views around the farm that is! You'll be pitching up in the spacious family friendly camping field or hooking up to your fully serviced pitch while the kids get reacquainted with their rural surroundings. The site has a limited number of camping and caravan pitches in separate areas, so you'll be able to enjoy plenty of peace and quiet, especially outside of peak season. The modern toilet and shower block is central to all pitches, less than a three minute walk. Pitches have electric and water access on a mixture of grass and hardstanding pitches - wild camping areas are also available for groups or walkers. Too cold to camp? The camping chalet complete with wood burning stove is all of the fresh air, back to nature camping vibes (just without the camping bit!). With no WiFi and minimal outdoor lighting, you'll have all night to marvel at the wide open night skies and reconnect with nature on this 500 acre SSSI farm. While campfires are not allowed at the pitches - have no fear of the good Irish summer weather- in the evenings, a roaring fire awaits you in the authentic old Cottage Museum, a perfect setting for meeting new friends and toasting a marshmallow or two. You are welcome to cook at your pitch, there are covered shed areas for off-season sheltered cooking- just ask the site. Whether you're looking for a back to nature escape, a break with the family, or want to reconnect with authentic farming life, Watertop Farm is sure to leave you with fond memories. With so many walks, bike trails, playgrounds, and farm animals to befriend, it's the perfect place for kids to burn off some energy. Dogs are welcome but do remember it is a working sheep farm with sheepdogs so only bring well behaved furry friends please.
