Single Axle Caravan - Fully Serviced Hardstanding PitchesDec 2024
I haven't been here for years, but should have rebooked before now. Lots of work has been carried out and the facilities are second to none.
It's a lovely site with fishing lakes and very friendly staff. I can't wait to revisit now in the near future.
All good except location, which is right beside dual carriageway. Very good for easy access but constant sound of traffic. Walking limited, although a pleasant walk to North Molton.
On arrival, we wanted to change the given pitch because it was loud there, dirty and people were using it as a short cut. People also letting their dogs using the pitch as a toilet on long leashes, even when we were eating outside.
Even though other pitches were free, we did not get another one. After repeated requests, we reached another pitch at the end of the second day.
Staff was very friendly but decisions were made only with discussions and too late.
That stay will be kept in mind as our poorest so far.
