Things to do on site and in the Okehampton area
The pretty village of Lydford is home to the historic world of a 9th century former prison and a charming church which has its own intriguing history.

Lydford Gorge's claim to fame is that it's the deepest gorge in England, so it's well worth the five minute stroll to see how far down it really does go. There's a picturesque trail which will also bring you past Whitelady Waterfall and Devil's Cauldron - surely a name that would fascinate any visitor!
If you've got the bike in tow, you'll find the nearby Granite Way perfect for exploring.
