Was just after somewhere to stay close to Exeter for a night. I can't fault this site - very quiet and pleasant with good facilities. Just wish it was open more months of the year.S

Nice quiet site with spread out pitches. We had a grass pitch with hook up for our camper van. Road access to the site is narrow but that's Exmoor for you! Toilet and shower block were basic but usable, and kept quite clean. Didn't really see the host as you pre-book and sign in, so lacks a bit of 'Bon homie', but overall very satisfied and met our need's admirably.
Quiet, tranquil

Stayed overnight on the way down to Cornwall. Self check-in was great and plenty of information on the boards in the reception. Nice and quiet, would stay again.

We had a really lovely stay. Showers were clean and hot and had use of fridge/freezer. Helpful information about the local area displayed. A nice site for children.

We stayed here for an overnight stop on the way to our campsite in Cornwall. It was a lovely location and the facilities were clean and very adequate. I cannot rate the service as we just booked ourselves in, but going by the overall standard I would imagine service would be good so have given 3 stars.

Buried deep in the Devon countryside, this is a quiet and simple campsite - just a single field between the farm buildings and a small wood-lined stream. The toilets and showers are fine - modern and clean. The water is solar heated, which was a nice green touch. If you want tranquillity, look no further. I am not sure what to say about 'Standard of Service' as I didn't see anyone from the farm throughout my stay - apart from the farmyard duck which seemed to live in the camping field. (On arrival, I simply signed the register in the reception). There are no local facilities. The nearest village, Drewsteington, is a 45-minute walk away. It appears to have one 'gastro-pub' with wonderful food at wonderful prices!

Enjoyed our stay, just for the one night. Straightforward checking in, friendly, cheap with a couple of bits for my little one to play with. Recommended.

Lovely little campsite, with basic facilities. Clean toilet block with hot showers. Hair dryer in washroom and sockets available in reception. Washing up area outside the toilet block/reception building and fridge/freezer available to freeze ice blocks. Fire pits and wood available to hire. Swings, rope swing and playhouse in the play area at one end of the field and hammocks hanging from the trees at the other. Chinnie was very friendly and checked we were okay throughout our stay. We had a great time and enjoyed the peaceful surroundings. Thank you so much. I'm sure we will be back for another visit next year.

We found the campsite a lovely break from the larger campsites. Facilities great and comparable with the larger sites we have been on which was lovely.

Lovely campsite, great value for money. Good pubs in walking distance (although a hilly walk). Great customer service when asking questions etc. Showers and toilets were very clean most of the time, obviously got a bit grubby with more use but that's to be expected. Site is a working farm with chickens and geese roaming around, all very friendly but they do leave a lot of leavings so to speak...something to bear in mind if attempting a night time toilet visit. Site is very quiet during the night, apart from some very vocal owls. All in all, a lovely stay and would stay again.
