Good campsite

Beautiful site. Perfect location. Facilities are ok.

Will definitely be staying again!

We loved our stay, the views are incredible however this does result in being smack bang in the middle of nowhere but there is plenty within a 30 minute drive which is good. Facilities were good and kept clean. We had a fab time despite the weather so I highly recommend.

Spacious family friendly site

Excellent stay. We were there for a long weekend. The plot was a decent size with plenty of space to park our car alongside the tent. The field was empty in the middle so the children had plenty of space to play ball games and have a good run around. The dog exercise area was amazing, they had lots of off lead time. The facilities were clean and seeing as we had a group of 10, we had no wait times for anything, even though the site was quite full. We unfortunately didn't have the greatest of weather but it didn't dampen the experience. The only downside for us was the surrounding area. There was nothing within walking distance (shops/restaurants etc). We would have been fine if we realised as we could have brought enough food supplies with us, so a heads up for anyone heading there. We had 3 drivers in our group, so we were able to head out for supplies The roads are narrow, single track in most directions so beware! This still didn't affect our stay. We had a great break and the children are already requesting a return next summer for a longer stay.

Generous pitches, impeccable facilities and unmatched hospitality

We recently stayed at Sea View Campsite and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The camping pitches were incredibly generous, providing plenty of space to set up and enjoy without feeling crowded. The entire camping field was spacious and well-maintained, giving us room to relax and enjoy the outdoors. The shower and toilet blocks were spotless and clearly well looked after, which made our stay even more comfortable. The site team deserves a special mention—they were exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout our stay. When we had an issue with our car as we were leaving, they went above and beyond to assist us, and we couldn't have been more grateful. As the name suggests, the views from the campsite were breath-taking, with stunning sea vistas that added to the serene atmosphere. Overall, Sea View Campsite provided us with a perfect camping experience and we can't wait to return!

Carry on camping

We had an amazing time. Our tent leaked. Straight away they put tarpaulin over the tent. Our holiday was saved. I will definitely stay again. Pitches are huge. Campers were so lovely. Most campers had stayed before. It was just an amazing time. Thanks so much.

Wonderful couple of days away

Lovely facilities, always clean. Lovely views and short drive to the beach. We had a great stay.

Would recommend, it's a lovely site

A lovely quiet place to stay, toilets and showers were really clean, field was clean, the dogs loved running through the paddocks. Big open field to camp in on the non-electric side, lots of open space. It's a nice walk down into Slapton village but it is all uphill on the way back up.

Just lovely

We booked a last minute break to Sea View and are so glad we did. We arrived in heavy mist and high winds, but the lady at reception immediately showed us a spot against a hedge that would provide the best shelter. The views are just beautiful and we woke to gorgeous sunshine the next morning. All the facilities are kept in very good order and were spotless. Would definitely recommend and will happily come again. The surrounding lanes are very narrow and, although our van was within the width limit for some of the villages, we will definitely bring the car next time!

Weekend away

Beautifully clean and spacious site. The fields were big so you never felt crowded. It wasn't near a shop and the walk to the village and the sea was long, and we ran out of milk, so would have been lovely if we could have bought some at the site. But, lovely views and a very peaceful site.

Thank you for your lovely review. We are really pleased that you enjoyed your stay on our site and would love to see you again. We don't have a shop on site as we prefer to give support to the local village community shop, which is only a mile away (less than 5 minutes in the car) and is very well stocked. We are sorry that you missed it and would have told you where you could get milk, if you had asked, or I would have given you some myself. Local village shops find it hard to make ends meet and it is very much a case of 'use it or lose it' here. The sea is 30 minutes walk away but is only 7 minutes in the car if the walk is too much and there is plenty of parking at the beach. You conveniently pass 2 pubs on the way, which many people use for lunch, dinner or a relaxing drink in the beautiful stone-walled gardens, before returning to the campsite.

Good field space with plenty of room. Clean toilets and showers. Would definitely stay again.

First solo camping trip with 2 dogs

The field was very spacious, and meant I could pitch away from others as I was worried the dogs might be a pain. Clean toilets, showers and kitchen area where there was a freezer, microwave, and a borrow box. it was a lovely 20 min walk to the village with 2 lovely pubs. Beware - the walk back up is quite steep! A really relaxing stay in a beautiful quiet location.

Nice and relaxed campsite with good views across the farmland and coast

A spacious and friendly campsite which is a great place to have as a base while exploring the region. We would happily stay again.

Great campsite

Lovely little campsite with good facilities and friendly owners. Nice walk down to Slapton for a swim and fish and chips.

Superb site, beautiful location and great service

My partner and our two dogs stayed here for 1 night and we wish we were able to stay longer! The site was beautiful with lovely views of both the countryside and the sea. The facilities were simple but extremely clean and well laid out, perfect for camping. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We will definitely be booking again, cannot recommend enough
