About Westland Farm
This is a real working farm in Devon's spectacular hills, set near to the North Coast and home to many friendly animals. Whether you choose to go back-to-basics with camping or try some glamping, the site has the same sense of tranquility and blissful simplicity. Bring your own tent or caravan and camp in soft and lush fields. There are also level hardstanding pitches with electricity for tourers to enjoy. For glampers, the shepherd's hut, charming drovers hut and superb Mongolian yurt are all close to a babbling brook, very popular with kids. They are all furnished and each include a cosy kitchen area, toasty wood burner and the unbeatable luxury of spreading out in a real bed.
Camping is from last week in May until the end of September. Other accommodation is open all year round.

Things to do on site and in the Barnstaple area
The farm is great for families, as there is heaps of room for them to run and play, plus cute farm animals keen to meet kids. To help you get involved, you and the family can collect freshly laid eggs from the hens for breakfast.
Lambing season is a great time to visit lambs to feed as there are many adorable newborns to feed and you might even catch a baby lamb's first moments in the world.
Your setting in the green and lovely countryside of North Devon includes top beaches, ancient market towns and country pubs where you can try a tipple or have a meal. Exmoor is also close at hand, perfect for a day's exploring.
