Park Foot provides the ideal base for exploring the breathtaking scenery of the Lake District. The park has direct access to Lake Ullswater for a lovely lakeside walk into Pooley Bridge or onto Barton Fell and is sure to impress with its private beach and boat launching facilities. About Park Foot Holiday Park
This family run camping and caravan park is just one mile from Pooley Bridge, in a glorious lakeside setting. Amongst this magnificent scenery, the park accommodates touring caravans, tents and motorhomes with electric hook-up available and a selection of all weather pitches. Fully serviced super pitches and premium pitches with 16-Amp electric are available. There is also a high quality selection of self catering accommodation in holiday cottages and lodges sleeping 2 - 10 people.
The site is open from mid March until Bonfire Night.

Non Electric Grass Pitches
Grass pitches without EHUs.
Electric All Weather Pitches
Gravel or hardstanding pitches to accommodate touring caravans, tents and motorhomes, with 10-Amp EHUs. These must be booked in advance.
Electric All Weather Premium Pitches
All weather pitches including 16-Amp electric.
Super All Weather Pitches
Larger than the permium pitches, including individual water and drain, and picnic bench. On fine camping gravel, please bring a suitable ground sheet.

Site rules and policies
There are a few house rules to ensure everyone enjoys themselves!
•We regret that we do not accept groups, or teenagers without parental supervision.
•In order to provide a peaceful night for all, no excessive noise is permitted between 11pm and 8am. Persons making excessive noise at any time will be asked to leave the park, without refund
•Anyone causing a noise or disturbance within a group, the whole group will have to leave, no refunds whatsoever will be made
•Please pitch 3 metres from your neighbour.
•Open fires are not allowed on the park. Portable BBQs are permitted, but stands must be used. For your own safety, gas bottles and BBQs must not be used in tents or awnings.
•No firearms, offensive weapons or fireworks of any kind are allowed on the park.
•The destruction of trees, shrubs, or wildlife is strictly forbidden.
•There is a strict speed limit of 10mph on site. Only holders of a full driving licence shall drive a vehicle on the park.
•Dogs are welcome at Park Foot but must use the designated exercise area, clean up after your dog and do not leave your dog unattended at any time. Dogs must be kept under control and on a lead at all times. We reserve the right to require that the owner remove the pet from the Park if it causes a nuisance or danger to other guests.
•No unlawful drugs may be used, or any criminal activities to take place at Park Foot.
•Children must be supervised and not cause a nuisance or danger to themselves or others.
•No sky lanterns are permitted.
•While the company will do their best to satisfy customer requirements, the company at their discretion reserve the right to withdraw any advertised services and to cancel any bookings made for clients, in which event no liability in respect of such cancellations shall fall on the company, save that the company shall refund any monies already paid in respect of bookings so cancelled.
•Liability is not accepted by the company for accidents to clients and their guests, or for the loss or damage to personal property.
•Please only book and pay for your intended nights stay, as there will be no refunds due to weather conditions or any reason, other than Park Foot cancelling your booking.
Things to do on site and in the Penrith area
Right here on site the clubhouse offers discos and regular entertainment, plus a family friendly space where everyone can get a bite to eat and relax.
Of course, you'll be keen to also head out and explore the stunning Lake District. The village of Pooley Bridge is at the northern extremity of the lake, just one mile from Parkfoot and a beautiful place to relax and dip into pretty cafes and cosy pubs.
The village of Glenridding, situated at the southern tip of the lake is popular with tourists of all kinds but particularly mountain walkers who use the village as a base to scale Helvellyn and take in breathtaking views.
You won't want to miss a trip around Pooley Bridge, Glenridding and Howtown in the nostalgic Ullswater Steamers. Or why not hire a boat and take to the tranquil water yourself right from the park?
