I was a lone female camper in a tent in the Upper Meadow. I could not recommend this place more highly. I met several lone female walkers doing the SW coastal path. We all agreed, it was great campsite for us. The location was perfect for the Sea, there was a coastal path and walking/running. Shops were with in walking distance in the village. The facilities, hot showers, charging points, freezer, were everything you need. There was a communal eating area for if the weather turns. The pitches are perfect and sheltered, the toilets are clean. Isaac and the team on the campsite were regularly on hand to offer local knowledge and advice if needed. I would definitely return, although I'd prefer a Sea View pitch next time. Thank you Isaac and the team for your professionalism. It was a relaxed, enjoyable holiday and very peaceful 🏕️🐾
Wonderful campsite!

We had such a lovely time camping here! Everyone was so helpful and cheerful. The location is fantastic - a very short walk down into Coverack. The facilities were brilliant - best I’ve seen at a campsite. Couldn’t recommend this campsite enough :)

My boyfriend and I stayed at Coverack Campsite for 5 nights for his birthday. We had such a lovely, relaxing time. We stayed in Bay Field and it was perfectly located with a sea view. When it was quiet we could hear the sound of the sea and the stars on a clear night were incredible. The showers were always nice and warm for us and there are plenty of toilets around as well as drinking water stations. We had hired a fire pit for our stay and occasionally needed to buy some extra wood. They have a very easy system of texting a number to ask for it to be delivered to your pitch that same day. Isaac delivered our wood and was very kind and friendly, sharing some good stories about Coverack. Coverack is a short walk from the campsite which we did a few times during our stay, a few nice places to eat with lots of great scenery. We would definitely stay at Coverack Campsite again. Thank you for a great camping holiday!

After one visit, this place has become our future go-to Cornish campsite; we are already planning to book the same pitch for next year. The location is wonderful; out of the way but with access to the village that allows you to avoid driving. The atmosphere is very, very laid back, hands-off and attentive at the same time. If there is one slight improvement we would suggest, it's the washing up area - it could do with being a bit bigger given the number of users and the sink, surface area and tap functionality could be better. Other than that, this place is benchmark lovely.

A great little campsite, in a gorgeous location. Very peaceful, with plenty of open space in the field for kids to play. Lovely views and the facilities were good enough for what you would want for camping. The showers were always hot, which was nice also. It's only a 5 minute walk down a hill to Coverack Village and Harbour which is beautiful. All in all a great little campsite, which we all enjoyed. Would definitely book again.

A wonderful location, easy to drive round Cornwall and a short walk into Coverack harbour town. It was a beautiful campsite overlooking the sea. The pitches were big and spacious with multiple toilet blocks. The toilets are very clean compostable toilets which always had hand sanitizer/sink and loo rolls. There are solar lights for night time and a big shower block with HOT showers! The covered picnic area had electricity and USB slots and a freezer. Also a wash up station. We hired a fire pit and bought logs and wood, which was delivered to our camp when we arrived and we were welcomed. There were lots of picnic benches but recon these might be limited in busy times! Can't wait to visit again! Thank you for all your help and for letting us stay!

The long tent was absolutely lovely. They describe it as comfortable camping - and it really was. Lovely beds, the fridge makes camping so much easier. Well equipped. And so close to the village. We really loved our stay and will be back.

What a little gem of a campsite with spotlessly clean facilities. The Celtic long house tents are amazing! Again they are well kept and spotless on arrival. They are well equipped with your basic needs like bedding and cutlery and a kettle and microwave. It's only a 5min walk to the nearest beach (Coverack village) which is stunning and boasts a nice beach and few little shops and pub. Would highly recommend this campsite to anybody - 10/10.

We were greeted on arrival with clear directions on where our pitch was located. Really good sized pitch, absolutely perfect for us with the canopy which got us out of the initial rain. Compost toilet located in each field. Showers and washing up facilities were basic but clean with good hot water. Literally, a 10 max walk to the beach with an array of local shops and bar. Absolutely loved our stay and will definitely be returning next year. Thank you for a great stay.

What can I say?! We had the most amazing stay. The site, facilities and Sam and Isaac were all brilliant and came to our rescue when we realised that our extension for the hook-up was too short. The site itself is truly beautiful. No one is on top of each other and all the fields offer very different views from each other, especially the sea view, which in itself is astoundingly beautiful. The facilities are first rate. They were cleaned twice a day and I am now a total covert to a composting toilet. The showers were lovely and warm. A great section for washing your pots alongside benches with the option to charge your electronics if needed. There's a wonderful walk down to Coverack beach and the Paris pub from the site. Staying here has so much to offer. You are no further than a 30-minute drive in any direction to some of the most breath-taking views of the Cornish coast. We didn't want to leave and we'll definitely be back, which for us is unusual! Thank you Sam and Isaac and thank you Coverack, you'd be daft not to stay.

Compost toilets are certainly good for the environment, but in the morning or at a warm day, they stink to high heaven.
Site's response
Hello Astrid, we were a little disappointed in your response to the compost toilets. Yes, with heavy use in warm weather it is difficult to eliminate all odours. The toilets are clean 2/3 times daily, saw-dusted and limed and sprayed with natural air fresheners. We provide a lot of compost toilets across the site to reduce use per toilet. We do our very best and strive to make continued improvements. We hope it didn't spoil your stay too much. It was noted that you extended your stay by 5 days, may we suggest it can't have been that bad! Best wishes, the Coverack Camping Team.
Loved it

Fabulously quiet and tranquil site. Stunning views. Basic facilities with composting toilets, showers are push button with no temperature control but was okay for a day or two. If you just want to escape the hustle, this is the place.
Great site for a basic site

We just wanted a basic site to park up for the night not far from Lizard. Easy to find, very clean. Would definitely come back again and don't let the compost toilets put you off they are ok too!

A basic site with composting toilets which were fine during our stay when it wasn't busy. Although, there seemed to be quite a few loos dotted around, not sure what they'd be like in the warm weather! Friendly owners, peaceful site in lovely surroundings. We were very lucky to have a field to ourselves & fantastic weather.

If you are looking for an almost wild site but with some facilities, then this is perfect. A quiet site with stunning views and basic facilities. For me it was perfection, as I don't like commercial sites with lots of concrete. Lovely walk down to the harbour, with lovely fish and chips and a stunning beach. Great site and fully recommend to all that like the quieter side of camping.
Highly recommended - 5*

We had planned to camp inside our Tesla expecting amazing weather, turns out the weather in the end was terrible. Very last minute, we phoned the owners to ask for a possible upgrade to one of the tents. They kindly offered us one of their tents, which were empty luckily, so we could have food and drinks inside. We agreed on a small extra fee for charging my EV. They recommend us to visit a beach just 12min away (walking). We ended up going to Coverack. We had a lovely stay, genuinely recommend! The only downside, in our view, was the toilet system. Overall we loved our stay!
