Things to do on site and in the Caernarfon area
Although there's plenty to keep you amused on-site, venture further afield and a host of treks and trails in the Snowdonia National Park are at your fingertips. For those seeking adrenaline-fuelled thrills attractions such as ZipWorld, Bounce-Below and Surf Snowdonia are close-by.
If you prefer the more serene, perhaps an afternoon tea during a visit to Betws-y-Coed or Beddgelert. Alternatively a short drive and hike will take you to the stunning cascades of Aber Falls at Abergwyngregyn.
When all the above is ticked off the holiday bucket-list, all you have left to do is scale the summit of Snowdon itself (train from Llanberis optional!).
The Victorian resort of Llandudno with its famous pier and the Great Orme are a short drive away as is the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Conwy town. The coastal area of North Wales also has numerous RPSB reserves, National Trust properties and Cadw sites.
