Pen y Bont campsite is an ideal base for exploring the Snowdonia National Park, set just 100 yards from Bala Lake and a short walk from Bala town. The central location also lends itself to touring the wider North Wales region. There are plenty of local walks and activities, the white water rafting center is a 10 minute drive from the campsite. Pen y Bont is central to many other activities available within a one-hour drive.
About Pen y Bont Touring Park
Pen y Bont Touring Park is 100 yards from the shores of Bala Lake (Llyn Tegid) and an easy walk from Bala town. It makes for a fantastic base for exploring the Snowdonia National Park and enjoying the area's many outdoor activities. There is a choice of serviced hardstanding and fully serviced hardstanding touring pitches for caravans and motorhomes. The camping field isn't far away from the touring pitches and there is a designated area for larger tents and tents requiring electric hook-up (all touring pitches have 16 amp electricity included). There is also the opportunity to camp in luxury with the three Isabella Time Out tents, fully equipped with a double bed and bunk beds with a double bed on the bottom and a single on top, a fully equipped kitchen, outside seating area with a fire pit and can easily accommodate five people A selection of charming shepherd's huts offer a wonderful glamping experience for two. Inside you'll enjoy the comfort of a double bed, plus log burner, fridge and a separate shower room, along with a mixture of authentic features and modern touches. It's a pet-friendly site, so you are welcome to bring your pooch too.

A range of standard and large camping pitches for tents only. All pitches are greater than 4m x 4m and have optional electric hook up.
39 x Hardstanding Pitches
Hardstanding pitches with a 16 amp electric hook up. Suitable for all tourers. Some are fully serviced offering both a water and waste connection as well.
