Situated along the outskirts of Cannock Chase AONB, the camping and caravanning site at Carney Pools enjoys a picturesque location nestled between the villages of Rugeley and Stafford. Prepare for a warm welcome as you find your perfect grass or hardstanding pitch, or treat yourself to a stay in one of two luxury glamping bell tents.
About Carney Pools
Spread across the level seven acre field, the camping and caravanning pitches here are well sheltered amidst the greenery onsite. 14 electric hook-ups are available, with six of these available on a range of hardstandings for tourers. The camping field caters to a variety of events too, including rallies, D of E groups and more. There are two camping pods can each sleep up to four people on covered mattresses, and have electric heating. There is a small kitchenette in each, fitted with a toaster, kettle, microwave, fridge freezer and DVD player for rainy days! Outside you'll have a picnic bench. A luxury bell tent provides a more fancy glamping break, complete with beds, linen and a chic interior. Choose from 4m and 6m, suitable for couples or family groups. The site is dog friendly and boasts its own designated area for dog walking. They must be kept on a lead whilst on the site. Fire pits are allowed and can be hired at an additional cost.

Site rules and policies
Polite notice: We ask all caravanners/campers to vacate by 12 noon on the day of departure. If you wish to stay longer this will incur an extra charge. Please see staff on duty.
Things to do on site and in the Stafford area
The fishing lodge onsite is the perfect starting point for first time-anglers, with bait and other fishing accessories available - plus a selection of snacks.
There are two coarse fishing lakes on the site, well stocked with carp, roach, bream and more.
