Small Tent - Non Electric Grass PitchesSep 2024

We used the campsite as a base for 4 days walking in the Shropshire Hills. 1 pitch for a small tent, 1 pitch for a camper van. The pitches at the top and bottom of the field are nice and flat, the space in between is not, but looks ideal for ball games etc. The field provides great views of the surrounding countryside, a beautiful something to feast your eyes upon in the morning. Facilities were great, fire pits (we didn't use), and picnic tables for every pitch. Amazing walking routes straight out of the site. Overall, and despite the rain, a very positive holiday experience. Thanks, Adrian.

Site's response

Thanks so much for writing this lovely review, we are pleased you enjoyed your stay with us. Yes we have level pitches top & bottom, the middle is not for camping, it is space for kids to play etc. Glad you enjoyed the walking from us there are many signed walks from the farm. Bishops Castle also has a walking festival in May. Many thanks again. Mary.
