Located in the northernmost corner of the British mainland, 874 miles from Land's End in Cornwall, the seaside pitches at John O'Groats Caravan and Camping Site are a welcome relief for those end-to-enders completing LEJOG. Take a breath and savour the moment with the local puffin population! The site is also located on the North Coast 500 route (NC500). There are 90 generous pitches for tents, caravans and motorhomes, with a mix of grass and hardstanding and plenty of 16A electric hook-ups.

There are lovely walks to the Stacks of Duncansby from the site, with puffins, guilliemots, skuas and other seabirds all nesting locally. The seal population on Stroma is another highlight - located just a few kilometres from the mainland. Orcas are regularly seen off the coast too.

John O'Groats passenger ferry offers day trips to the Orkney Islands from the harbour.
