Excellent location and setting, plenty to do, owners very friendly. The pond and ping pong kept us entertained. Will look to go back.

Fantastic stay

Had a wonderful stay at the Wigwams with husband & 12 year old nephew, who is normally into the WIFI games, but on this occasion we packed loads of games, a football & DVDs. On arrival, greeted by the very friendly owners who told us we could explore around the estate. We went to see the deer, the Highland cows, the natural pond and the wonderful newly made wild swimming area, just above the wigwams. This was a big hit with the boys, they were in it as much as possible and had a ball. Highly recommend the pizza night - delicious. We played the games sat round the firepit/BBQ talked about things we had seen including a grasshopper. It really turned into a wonderful experience and hopefully a great memory for all of us. Thank you so much we will return.

Our stay

Lovely site, lots of facilities and will be back very soon. Pool was amazing - my kids loved it - can't recommend it enough xx

Glamping

My first time glamping with our two young grandsons. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the site and the standard of the pod. We had tea, coffee and sugar all left for us and cloths with washing up liquid and a couple of logs for the fire pit. Overall the management of the site offer a number of on site facilities such as football pitch, outdoor swimming, walks, animals (200 red deer) and hammocks. They have a sheltered stores with communal fire pit if weather is naff and a pizza oven at weekends. We were made to feel really welcome and it's very safe and ideal for a wee break away. It's 10 minute drive to Leven and Lower Largo and abundance of cafes everywhere. Definitely recommend the site. We got pebbles from the beach and the kids painted them on the benches outside the pod.

Lovely peaceful break away

Hosts were brilliant, easily contactable and always available. Cosy, peaceful wigwams with great onsite facilities and beautiful surroundings. A few minutes drive from shops/restaurants/take away. Gave us great accessible access to the entire Fife coast. Hot tub was a lovely addition.

Fantastic night away with the puppy and hubby!

Booked this for hubby's birthday, and although the weather was not the best, to be honest we didn't even notice it. I am autistic and everything about the place was calming for my sensory needs and allowed me to relax, which has never happened for any night away! Would highly recommend, such good value for money. Will be back for a longer stay next time. Couple who own the area are lovely also.

Montrave Estate

Really clean pods and great facilities inside the pod. Some swings and table tennis, which was great for us.

Lovely stay in the countryside

We had a lovely stay for 2 nights with our toddler and baby in a pod. It’s a great base to explore the surrounding areas. There’s lots of space for the little ones to run about outside. Lots of wildlife around as well.

Amazing two night stay

An amazing two night stay in beautiful grounds. There is so much to do here, from short to long walks, wild swimming in the lake, tree swings and table tennis for the kids - they have thought of everything. The hot tubs and cabins are eco friendly, using rain water and wood burning ovens to heat the hot tub. Nearby villages and coastal areas are a short drive away should you want to go out for dinner or even go to the beach. The hosts were amazing, on hand to answer any of our questions and help should we have needed any. Thank you Airin and Nick for a wonderful stay we will definitely be back. I recommend this site to all, whether it is a family getaway, a romantic couples or a solo escape - you won't be disappointed.

Faultless beautiful weekend

The couple Nick and Airin were great hosts. Beautiful location, perfect distance between pods, very clean and well looked after. Great value for money! Definitely sample the stone baked pizzas on Saturday nights - 10/10.

Beautiful

Me and my boyfriend booked here for a night away for my birthday. We were very happy with our stay. Airin was lovely and made sure we had everything we needed and any questions were answered. It was so nice to be in a peaceful area and enjoy some time in the hot tub. Everything was perfect, would highly recommend 😊!

We love staying here

We stayed in one of the Wigwams with the Swedish bath tub for the first time this stay and definitely will be booking this again. It's always nice arriving. Nick already had the tub heating up for us and showed us how to use it - we could call him any time if we had an issue! The Wigwam has really great facilities. My son loves seeing the horses, deer and highland cows on our walks around the grounds. He also loves the swings, football area and playing ping-pong in the communal shed area. Such a relaxing experience, sitting in the Swedish bath, enjoying the countryside views. The location was perfect for day trips around Fife. Nick and Airin are always on hand when needed and provided local recommendations of places to visit. They cook pizzas from their wood fired pizza oven (at certain times of year though) which are amazing. A great, relaxing break. Would highly recommend this place to anyone. We go a few times a year and would go more if we could.
