This was hands down one of, if not, our favourite campsite of the year. They give you clear and easy directions to reach the site, and once you're there everything is clearly signposted. The facilities were in fantastic condition and spotlessly clean. Even though we stayed at the end of the season, the farm shop still had a wonderful selection of fresh and frozen meats, as well as plenty of other items you may have needed. The staff were incredibly friendly and were great to chat with, we can't wait to come back next year for another stay!

We had an idyllic fellowship with your goats and sheep just over the fence. We need to remember the chocks to stop us rolling down the hill in bed. But the best was the industrial dish washer!
Great campsite!

This is one of the best campsites I've been to in a while! The area is completely surrounded by animals (goats, sheep, deer) and they are super friendly. Was slightly worried at first that they would make a lot of noise in the morning as they are right outside the tent. However, that really wasn't an issue and it was lovely hearing them. The facilities (showers, toilets, washing up areas) were very clean and were regularly cleaned by staff. The farm shop was good value and stocked all the essentials! Great for kids and groups of friends or family. They have a quiet policy after 10:30pm and it was great. Super quiet and peaceful. 10/10 recommend.

Beautiful central location, 10-15 minutes from most attractions. The farm was really well presented, clean and very friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. It was family friendly, and felt very safe. No negative comments to make. It was a great campsite and we loved it!

We booked a last minute 2 night spot and were thrilled. The site is in a beautiful position and is run immaculately, the little on site shop is really useful and the shower blocks were fantastic.
Lovely smart campsite

We really enjoyed this campsite, it felt simplistic and rustic but had good, smart, clean bathrooms and a reasonable farm shop that had everything we needed - including the ability to hire a fire pit. There was a lovely river that the kids could play in and it felt very safe. Only small negative was that families were having so much fun, it definitely wasn't quiet by 10.30pm as stated, but it didn't matter too much. We'd definitely go again.

We stayed for 3 nights at Cuckoo Farm Campsite, myself and my two children, aged 10 and 13. This is a fantastic site for kids. There is a huge tipi in the corner of the field where you can play table football or table tennis for free (£1 for a ping pong ball or bring your own). There are a couple of rope swings near the shallow river (one is actually low over the river) that you can paddle in. Sadly, it wasn't quite warm enough when we were there. Lots of the kids were out playing in the evening and my two joined them for site-wide game of hide and seek. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The shop stocks a reasonable range of useful items, such as bread, milk and BBQ food. The burgers and sausages, which I believe are made by the farm, were excellent. Location wise, the site very quiet in the countryside, on a farm and a 10-15 drive to Normanton Church on Rutland Water, or Stamford. The main thing I came away with from our visit is that the site is really well cared for. The toilets were very clean, the showers were hot, there is a freezer for general use and even an outside 3-minute dishwasher charged at £1.50 per go. The "noise curfew" was respected by all, which meant we all had a good night's sleep each night. We'll definitely look to return soon and try to combine it with a Sunday morning tour of the working farm. We had a great time. Thank you.

What a lovely, family friendly site. The team work hard to maintain a high level of cleanliness.. The farm shop is very well stocked and you get a friendly welcome.
