Happy Days Holiday Retreat is a small camping site set in the Lincolnshire countryside, in the resort of Woodhall Spa, just 30 minutes from the coast. There are two grass pitches for tents, caravans and motorhomes as well as two ready tents for those wanting to avoid the trouble of hammering in tent pegs. With lots to do nearby and Battle of Britain planes flying overhead, this is a great spot for nature and history lovers.

About Happy Days Holiday Retreat

A peaceful family friendly campsite set in the Lincolnshire countryside midway between Lincoln and Skegness, 15 minutes from the Lincolnshire Wolds and half an hour from the coastline. There are two grass pitches available with or without electric suitable for tents, caravans or motorhomes. They're very spacious and surrounded by beautiful woodlands, each one taking up to six people. Additionally, there are two pre assembled ready tents for those looking to avoid the hassle of hammering in tent pegs. One is done in vintage style. Inside you'll find a day bed and trundle bed, a single bed, a single camp bed. All bedding and linen is provided but please bring your own towels. The other has two single beds, and a princess bed, car bed or a camp bed. Sleeping four in total. Inside there is also a lovely dining area and tea-making station with all crockery, cooking utensils and cutlery provided. A rural retreat for those looking to sit back and unwind in the countryside, you can often spot Battle of Britain planes flying overhead! Dogs are allowed onsite, but not in the ready tents. Campfires are allowed in the fire pits that you can hire onsite.

The ready tent and bell tent are available between May and September, the Shepherd's Hut from May until November. Touring pitches are available between April and November.

Onsite facilities include toilets, sinks, showers, a washing up point, ice pack freezing and WiFi.

The closest pubs and bar are within a ten minute drive, Bar Eleven and The Golf Hotel. Less than a five minute drive away in Woodhall Spa, you'll find two supermarkets, a green grocers, two butchers, a bakery and various tea rooms.

Large Tent - Grass Pitch with Optional ElectricAug 2024

We had an excellent time at Happy Days Retreat. The site was very well maintained and the facilities were amazing. The kids loved it, and had a great time making friends with other families. We had day trips to Lincoln and Mablethorpe and Woodhall Spa itself is a unique place to visit. Overall we would recommend this site to families for camping and it is obvious that the owners take great pride in their site. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Large Tent - Grass Pitch with Optional ElectricAug 2024

Perfect place to spend a few days with my family. The site owners were very welcoming and helpful (especially when we realised we'd forgotten our air mattress). The toilets/showers are lovely, and there is a kitchen with a fridge and freezer, as well as microwave and kettle available to use. A great spot to stay - and Woodall Spa is a lovely place to visit as well.

Sprinter-Type Campervan - Electric Grass PitchJul 2024

A hidden little gem if you want access to Woodhall Spa, we enjoyed our time as a more mature couple in a campervan. The facilities are literally spotless, but I think the real charm of this place is the effort that the owners have put in for younger children. For a traditional young family holiday I would definitely recommend it.
