About Northwood Caravan and Holiday Park
A small family run site in the heart of the Ribble Valley boasting stunning views over Longridge Fell. This adult only site offers a peaceful retreat away from daily life in a rural setting but with nearby links to explore the wider area. Each pitch is set within beautifully landscaped grounds offering level ground, shelter and water no more than 3m away. With 28 hardstanding pitches with electric hook up, four extra large fully serviced pitches and a fully serviced pitch, the site perfectly caters to your caravan, trailer tent or motorhome. Seasonal pitches are available. The site's rural setting means you will be immersed in nature. Local roe deer, pheasants, rabbits and even a heron have been known to visit regularly. The site opened 15 years ago as a Camping and Caravanning Club CS but now is open to all, including non-members. Dogs welcome.
Northwood Caravan and Holiday Park is open on the following dates for 2024: 01/01 to 04/01, 08/03 to 21/12 and 27/12 to 31/12.
The site offers luxury shower facilities (showers 20p per minute), toilets and a disabled toilet.
There is a Spar shop within a mile, along with petrol station. Fabulous restaurants and a bar within a three minute walk.

Greeted onto this site in the dark and fully guided and supported by Walter, who was so patient, kind and friendly. A beautiful site, spacious, level gravel pitches. Immaculately clean toilets and showers that smell great. Definitely value for money and electricity didn't even cost 2 quid for 2 nights. Will absolutely be visiting again.

Easy to miss sign and is a very busy road. Quite a bit of road noise. The one disappointment was the majority of caravans were seasonal and therefore, hardly anyone around. Would go again as we could not fault the pitches.

Things to do on site and in the Blackburn area
The Ribble Valley is known as the official centre of the kingdom! You can be in the Forest of Bowland within 15 minutes and it's perfect for outdoor adventures.
Walking in the area is incredibly popular with several walks directly off the main road near the site.
Within just a mile you'll find riding, and golf is just three miles away. The River Ribble is within a mile.
A train station is just over two miles with direct trains to Manchester, Clitheroe and Blackburn. The bus stop is a 3 minute walk.
Northwood is in a fantastic location, just a quick walk to two fantastic restaurants and a five minute drive from several more.
