Hardstanding was a poorly drained road surface and muddy. Poor toilet and shower facilities, Light in gent's only active in the urinal area, but when using the toilet, the light times out. Shower facility in the men's leaves a lot to be desired, only one toilet and one shower. The same for the ladies'. However, water temperature in the ladies' shower fluctuated between cold and scalding, 80% of time it was cold water only. Internet Wi-Fi only worked in Cafe, did not work in motorhome. Owners very friendly, and the breakfast is good value for money.
Great campsite, best ever

This is simply the best place I've ever stayed. It's quiet peaceful and the owners are very friendly. It's a family run site, they go out their way to help you in anyway possible. Anything you ask, they can help. The cafe food is amazing, never tasted food like it. I'll be going back all the time. I had an amazing time here, kids were happy and me and my husband were happy. I couldn't say one bad thing. Everything was a great experience. It's lovely and clean, the people are just amazing. Thanks for everything, we love it here, see you very very soon - Tara and Alan.

Lovely little campsite. Great location for Hereford and surrounding areas. The host was a lovely bloke and could not do enough for us. He did explain that the toilets and showers were basic but they are getting upgraded and a farm shop is been built. That said the toilets and showers were very clean and pleasant enough to use. We've seen a lot worse! Great little café on site and a pub close by. Plus, lots to do in the local area. Small site with only a few pitches. Easy access for our 7m rig. Would have loved to have stayed longer but we had another place already booked for the following day. Definitely worth the money. Wish these guys all the best.
A bit over priced for for the facilities

The toilet and shower block needs updating urgently as the ladies shower cubicle is too small. There is only one men's toilet and the seat falling off, the sinks could do with a good clean. Hopefully, it will be all updated next year when the new shop is been built. The owners are lovely and it brought back memories when I saw the sheep escape 😂 It was lovely watching the geese. I feel an urgent update of facilities is needed.

We arrived and where welcomed by the friendly staff. As we arrived late in the evening the staff offered recommendations of locals shops and places to eat out! The facilities were clean. The site was quite and we made friends with Sid the dog who likes you to throw the ball for him. Overall a lovely site 🐕

This is a lovely site in a pretty place, the road is quite busy but didn't disturb us too much. The cafe is lovely and we enjoyed breakfast both days. The only downside is the toilets and showers which need updating. It didn't spoil our stay but would have done if we had been there longer than a weekend.

Great spot and cannot wait to go back next year after all the building work that they are going to do to modernize the site. New shop, bar etc. Great spot, looking forward to seeing site next year.

My husband and I stayed in a motorhome. My daughter and her partner were in campervan. The site is quiet and peaceful, we were the only ones on the site. Cafe serves amazing, delicious, food cooked by Gareth.
Nice location, well placed for Hereford and Ludlow

Easy to find location; pitches have power and a picnic bench with a light too. The wi-fi signal is good throughout the site.

Perfect location for a photo tour of the Welsh Marches. I was completely self-sufficient in my campervan, so I cannot comment on the facilities. A thoroughly idyllic setting - peaceful and relaxing - dawn and dusk chorus of blackbirds and geese squabbling was a real bonus!

Despite Storm Kathleen doing her best, we had a lovely two night break here. Facilities were clean but basic. One shower each for males and females with two toilets each. Would benefit from wooden or plastic duckboards for exiting shower cubicles, in place of the cloth mats currently in use maybe? Had a lovely cooked breakfast at the cafe on site. Owners and chef were very warm and welcoming.
Another great weekend at Midway

Great breakfasts from the cafe. Improvements to the men's shower gives you a lot more room. Enjoyed the Easter sunshine and relaxed. First big weekend of the year, improvements on the go. Can see the efforts that are being made, shower so much better now that you have room to move. Lovely hot water saves me having to clean our caravan one out. Restricted due to lots of rain, so very busy on hard standing, but couldn't be helped. Cracking breakfasts and friendly welcome as always. Enjoyed the Easter sun.

We absolutely love coming to Midway, the camping field is perfect and safe enough for our little one to run around in and she adores the freedom, as well as the geese!! The facilities are always spotlessly clean, and the family who run the site and attached café are amazing, so friendly and welcoming. The food in the café is all delicious and very well priced! We couldn't ask for much more from a site for a nice chilled break and will be back again, more than once!

This is our favourite place in the world. We have been coming in the summer holidays every year for a while now. We love the quiet and the space the children have to run around in. The café serves absolutely amazing food and the owners are lovely. Finally, it is close to an Aldi and Morrisons so very convenient to get some shopping in, there's also a lovely milkshake machine a few minutes up the road!
