About Hay-on-Wye Caravan Park
This family friendly caravan park is a great spot for literature fanatics and adventure seekers with the annual Literature and Arts Hay Festival a short walk away and Bannau Brycheiniog National Park (Brecon Beacons) reachable by car in five minutes. There are grass pitches for those staying in tents or a roof tents and grass hardstanding pitches for roof tents, motorhomes, touring caravans or campervans. All pitches have a 16 amp electric hook up and parking alongside. Or, if you prefer glamping the Noddfa shepherd's hut is the perfect option, fitted with a double bed to sleep up to two guests. Bedding is not provided but you can add it as an optional extra to your booking. Inside is a chest of drawers, a TV, a table and chairs and a wood burner to keep you toasty. You'll also have a fitted kitchenette area with a fridge, kettle, toaster, hob and microwave. Crockery, cutlery and utensils are provided. Shared facilities are nearby. Hay-on-Wye also known as 'The Town of Books' is a 30 minute walk from the site with a range of eateries and shops and of course a wide variety of bookshops for literary lovers! The town is also home to the annual Hay Festival which is just a short walk from the site. Your canine companion is welcome to join you for your stay on the grass and hardstanding pitches, but dogs are not allowed in the shepherd's huts. Why not end your day of adventures by cooking up a feast on a BBQ?
