Guests explore the country park and superb views of the Thames Estuary from their safari tents. Perfect for active types are the mountain bike trails which stretch across the park (formerly of Olympics fame).

Your setting is in Hadleigh, just a short way from Southend-on-Sea, and Leigh-on-Sea, which are popular beachy destinations. Although this is a site packed with activities, you can also lie back and take it easy in your safari tent, with your own decked veranda - ideal for sunbathing or bird spotting. You'll be far from the stresses of modern life and yet well cared for with creature comforts. This space is sure to provide a glamping experience to remember, and is ideal for active families and couples who fancy trying something new.

Site rules and policies
Your booking must be for camping or glamping purposes only. Any other activities will not be permitted.
The safari tents will be available between 3 pm and 6pm on the first day of your booking and you must leave before 11 am on your last day. If you are arriving after 6pm, there may be an additional charge.
The number of people occupying each safari tent must not exceed the maximum capacity indicated on the booking form.
No pets are permitted. Please check with us first about our pet policy.
No (lights or illuminations which have naked flames) shall be used within the tents.
The cooking of food is permitted inside the safari tent using only the gas hob provided. No BBQs are to be lit inside the tents and BBQs must be lit a safe distance away from the tents itself.

Essex Glamping and Hadleigh Park is unlicensed facility and we cannot promote, sell or manufacture alcohol and The Salvation Army ask us to respect their mission in that events at Hadleigh park are promoted as alcohol free.
We operate a noise policy throughout the site, and have a quiet period between the hours of 11pm and 7am.
Unfortunately we do not accept large groups i.e hen or stag parties.
Things to do on site and in the South Benfleet area
Ever since the nation enjoyed the London 2102 games, this park has been modeled into a top notch sport arena, with some of the very best mountain bike courses in the country.
What's here is truly a sporting legacy. There is a hub packed with facilities and trails to help guests get active.
Here you can take your first shots in archery, go kayaking, try paddle boarding or even parkour and of course you'll love the extensive mountain bike trails, which are free to ride. Should you wish to book specific activities at the park, please enquire about these before your stay.
If you love catching something tasty, head to the fishing lake, or just the wander the park's beautiful walkways.
Stepping away from your base you'll find seaside fun at Southend and incredible theme park thrills at Adventure Island.
