About North Lees Campsite
This site caters for tents and small campervans (VW or sprinter size) only, offering a beautiful location in the national park. The nearby woodlands, farmland and moorland are managed for conservation and form part of Stanage-North Lees, which is owned by the Peak District National Park Authority. The site comprises three gently sloping fields, with car parking spaces separate from the camping area. It is ideally suited to small tents (space on site for large tents is limited and attracts a surcharge). Perfect for getting back to nature, pitches don't include electric. In addition to tent camping, the site also has seven cosy camping pods. These are a dry, hassle free option which acts as a kind of wooden tent. It means you don't need to worry about pitching or taking down a canvas home and has the comfort of double glazed windows, heating and lighting. They all have a covered veranda area and lockable French doors. Space for a travel cot too, if required. One pod is designed to be fully accessible with parking alongside, height adjustable bed inside and tent camping spots close by for family and friends.
