We recently stayed at the glamping cabin (2 adults and 3 children) and the accommodation was beyond expectations and more than enough amenities for us as a family. The staff were also amazing, really helpful and accommodating and made us feel so welcome. The site itself is situated in a great location for all local attractions and family walks and just a short walk along the shore of the lake into Coniston. Great local pub also just a short walk away serving a great selection of drinks and food.
Lovely site and accommodation

Lovely cabin, booked for our family of 5. Accommodation and the site were very clean and well looked after. Only four dining chairs around the table, which was surprising when booking for 5 and cabins are sold for up to 6 people, but we just used one of the outdoor patio chairs too. Access to the lake only a short walk away. Due to the weather, we found indoor activities for the kids instead for the majority of our stay. The playgrounds around the site were all aimed at younger children and would have been nice if there was one slightly bigger for older kids to play on. All in all, we had a great time and would stay again.

A great site, very clean and safe. You do need to walk about 25 mins to lake and about 50 mins to town. Our glamping pod was good for a short break. Clean. Comfy beds. Our only complaint was the horrible musty smell which meant we needed ventilation and didn't really like sitting in it.
We are very happy

The cleanliness was VERY good! Pleasant people, the site was not too full, and no problem to get a free shower. The pod was fine, enough space. Only the camp beds were hard, so you should have a foam mat or an air bed to put on the bed. Best regards, Michael.
Spotless and well equipped!

My partner and I booked a glamping pod here for a couple of nights. We were impressed by the cleanliness and good condition of the accommodation. Everything worked and it had been cleaned to a high standard before our arrival, especially the ensuite bathroom. We enjoyed preparing our own meals in the compact but well equipped kitchen, before cooking them on the barbecue outside. We would definitely like to come back again in the future!

Lovely experience, well maintained facilities, convenient location! The site was very well maintained with clean facilities. Check in and check out both went very smoothly, and directions were clear. The site itself is well located, a leisurely walk from Coniston itself and a short distance from the Torver ferry jetty. Note however, that you should bring your own cooking capabilities unless your booking includes the ability to purchase a portable barbecue from the site shop - which ours did. The Wi-Fi is available to use at reception, but not the rest of the campsite, so plan anything needing Wi-Fi accordingly. However, phone reception is decent throughout the site! Overall, a lovely stay, pleasantly surprised by how well the facilities were kept clean despite the site being busy and fully booked for summer. The site isn't crowded even at full capacity.
