About Tamarisk Cornish Holidays
Set in 30 acres of countryside, this peaceful glamping site offers an idyllic rural getaway. Just a 15 minute walk from a pub and shop, surrounded by wonderful walking routes, you can enjoy a relaxing stay without even having to get in the car. The Kerensa Cabin is a cosy shepherd's hut-style cabin designed for two guests. Inside you will find an open-plan living area with a double bed, a small equipped kitchen with a kettle, fridge, toaster, sink and cooking essentials, along with a table and chairs for enjoying your morning coffee. There is also an ensuite shower room, along with a TV with Netflix and a DVD player. Outside of the cabin is a private, wrap-around decking with a table and chairs. For evenings in the open, there is a BBQ grill along with a wood burning hot tub with LED lights and massage jets. For groups of up to three, the Ivy Rose Cabin comes with a separate double bedroom with a memory foam mattress and an optional sofa bed. The open plan space comes with a small kitchenette, equipped with a double electric hob, kettle, toaster, small tabletop oven, under counter fridge/freezer and a butler sink. For cosy nights in, there is a large Smart TV. You will also have a full modern ensuite with a walk in shower, loo and hand basin. Outside of your cabin, there is a large private decking area, which comes with outdoor furniture, a fire pit and an electric hot tub with unspoilt views over the surrounding farmland. The Tamarisk Cabin is the largest of the three, featuring a large double bedroom and a twin bedroom. The is an open-plan living space with a kitchenette featuring an oven with hobs, toaster, kettle, fridge and kitchenware. You will also have a Smart TV, a dining table, sofa and a full bathroom with bath robes and a hair dryer. Outside you will also have the luxury of your own infrared sauna and a hot tub! Everyone will have bed linen and towels included in their stay, along with access to WiFi and heating to keep you nice and cosy all year round. Dogs are also welcome to join you for your stay, with up to two allowed per cabin. If you want a treat when you arrive, you can also opt for a cream team for two. This includes four scones, a pot of clotted cream and local Cornish jam!
Tamarisk Cornish Holidays is open all year round in 2024 and 2025.
Each cabin has its own ensuite facilities and hot tub. Food boxes are also available to pre-order. There is a small onsite shop where you can buy local art, crafts and gift items.
The nearest shop is Wainhouse Country Store, a 15 minute walk away. You will also find The Old Wainhouse Inn a 15 minute walk away, serving both food and drink.

We did a short stay in the Kerensa Cabin and it was lovely. A lovely area with lots of privacy. The cabin was perfect size for 2 and lots of space for the dog to venture. Would definitely stay again and will be arranging this soon! Highly recommend.

Host was absolutely amazing. I forgot to bring cooking oil and they happily dropped us some at 9pm in the dark. Also addressed any concerns we had immediately, top notch service and the hot tub was a lovely addition. Pity about the British weather, but will definitely return when the weather improves. The cabin was left to us, it was nice and clean, with sufficient towels and bedding. Overall very happy with the service.

Great stay, beautiful location and we loved hot tub! Place was nice and clean but could do with TLC in few spots and would be nice to add few extra bits, like hangers in the bathroom, some extra shelves in bathroom and bedroom, and kitchen towels and drying rack, as there was nowhere really to dry dishes. Overall, it was a great stay and those things wouldn't stop us from coming back!
