About Glamping at LacockAlpaca
Set in a four acre field are three spacious bell tents on a well established alpaca farm. Each tent is named after a Wiltshire bird - Red Kite, Yellowhammer and Green Sandpiper. The tents are well spaced, allowing you plenty of privacy during your stay. During your stay you will be welcome to tour the farm and meet the herd of 32 alpacas to learn more about how these gentle, inquisitive creatures are cared for. Inside each bell tent is a fully made up double bed with sprung mattress together with two single futons, to comfortably sleep four. Towels and linen are all provided. There's also a toasty log burner for extra warmth on cool nights. Outside you can relax in the deck chairs provided, cook your meals over the fire pit or use the camping gas stoves allocated to your tent and enjoy time together at the picnic table. Pots, pans, crockery, cutlery and glasses are provided along with a cool box for food storage. There is easy private parking close by. Each tent has its own private composting toilet and access to two shared gas-powered showers. Thanks to the eco-friendly ethos here, you will be provided with environmentally friendly products and the team are committed to a tree planting project to support the local environment and soil regeneration. The site also has two beautiful farmstay accommodation options.
