Things to do on site and in the Bradford on Avon area
The Farm Camp offers an incredible range of unusual activities which campers can enjoy for a small fee. You can take a creative workshop with a group of friends and learn how to make bunting or gather round a bushcraft session where you'll learn how to build dens and start a fire. Archery is available for groups of six or more, where you can test your ability to hit the bull's eye.
There are also sheep herding sessions for groups of ten or more and if you're in need of some delicious relaxation, you can try yoga, massage or fitness sessions. The site operates inspiring Campwell retreats in the heart of nature, too, where you can get a digital detox, relax and unwind or join optional activities. Be sure to book all sessions in advance to avoid disappointment.
The site can help you re engage with the natural world. On the farm, get arty with creative woodland experiences or get stuck in to a bush-craft session.
The more active amongst you can join in with some archery, yoga or outdoor boot camps but the site can also organise tours of the local organic vineyard for those who prefer a more leisurely approach to pleasure seeking. Or you can follow one with the other!
Wild swimming is popular in the lovely River Avon, and you can swing across on a rope, take a dunk and then warm up in a cosy local pub. A musician nearby can be booked for fantastic campfire singalongs and all groups of adults will want to make a beeline for Quoins Organic Vineyard where they can tour and taste the delicious fruit of the land.
This close to Bath, it's no surprise that you can hire bikes, canoes and boats to take a leisurely trip on the the Kennet and Avon canal. This will lead you into Bath where there's gorgeous Georgian heritage to tempt you and, of course, fascinating Roman history. It's the ideal place to take a dip!
