It's a spacious and sunny site in the Pembrokeshire National Park for people who enjoy tranquillity and privacy.

About Cwt Gwyrdd Shepherd's Hut and Pod Glamping

You'll find Cwt Gwyrdd at the foothills of the beautiful Preseli Mountains, the site having been lovingly created by Tim and Lucie. It's ideally situated inside the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park and just five miles from the sea - an ideal starting point for exploring Pembrokeshire and West Wales. The site is available for group bookings only and guests have exclusive use of the meadow running down to the River Bannon, with space for 2-6 people split between the shepherd's hut, yurt and bell tent. The glamping site is in a large meadow bounded by the River Bannon and fields with the owners' home out of sight and 200 metres away. You will have maximum privacy during your stay. The shepherd's hut is furnished with a comfortable king size bed and Welsh blankets. There is a kitchen area with hot running water, sink, cooker and a wood burning stove. Outside, you can lounge on the upcycled benches or gather around the campfire with drinks as the stars come out. Fall asleep to the sound of the stream and wake to birdsong. In addition to a shepherd's hut, extra optional accommodation includes a barn style pod and a bell tent. The pod and bell tent share a camp kitchen. The shepherd's hut, pod and bathroom hut have electricity but the bell tent is off grid.

The site is open from April until October, but may also take bookings outside of those dates for the shepherd's hut.

Facilities and amenities

The bathroom hut is a few yards away from the accommodation, with a hot shower, compost loo, jug, bowl and wash stand. It's also stocked with eco-products. For those staying in the yurt and bell tent there is an equipped camp kitchen (the shepherd's hut has its own kitchen area).

There is a WiFi access point in the shepherd's hut which is accessible from all accommodation.

Unfortunately Cwt Gwyrdd Shepherd's Hut and Pod Glamping doesn't share their availability calendar with us yet. Availability changes quickly, especially in summer, so we recommend enquiring by phone to avoid missing out.

Our Greener Camping Club rules are posted at the glamping site. However because you will have sole use of the site during your stay, you will have no glamping neighbours on the site to disturb. Having said that, noise carries in the countryside so we expect consideration to be shown and the restriction of noisy activities to social hours.
